Only just realised I've now passed 10 years working in the tabletop gaming industry, about 3.5 years full time (total, not consecutive). I am constantly surprised at how far I've come, and yet after each success, the goalposts feel farther away. Even so, I count every day I do this as a blessing.

Had a couple more sessions of ECO MOFOS, banger of a game! Really like how it adapts the Odd mechanics, and it’s super easy to jump into adventuring, great for getting straight to the fun. (Sure wish it had an index though!)

My eternal quest is to destroy the idea that indexes are optional which so many game designers apparently believe. I cannot imagine dedicating so much time to the mechanics of your game and then just tanking its playability because indexing is boring!

As a reminder, Petmon is my narrative-focused #TTRPG inspired by #Digimon. The title is diceless, using a system inspired by @jennamoran.bsky.social Chuubo's. You play both your own Chosen Child and another player's Petmon as you try to save the Monster World.
