Fantastic performance but yeah it comes off at best naive as if oppressed groups haven't tried "sit down and talk", or at worst pretty horrific "don't fight your oppressors".
Admittedly this would be as much of a problem if the fandom didn't pedal out this scene at the start of any real world war.
