After Hours. 🥃🌹 (Thank you @hopeymirielle.bsky.social for helping me achieve darker shadows that I was aiming for & fixing the wall light ❤️ I adore & appreciate you) #SecondLife

An elven man with tousled hair reclines casually on a bed. His dark blue dress shirt is loosened revealing his tattooed body, tie slack and pulled down by his fingers, and belt undone. He holds a glass whiskey bottle labeled "Devil's Tung" and gazes off to the side with a suggestive expression. Beside him, a nightstand displays a black tray with a red rose, heart-shaped chocolates, and a small cheesecake topped with a lit sparkler. “Love you” is written in red icing across the tray. A nearby photo shows him and his lover sharing an intimate kiss. The scene is lit with a warm, intimate tone that creates a romantic and subtly enticing atmosphere. Is he waiting? Or does this imply a moment between "what just happened" and what's continuing off-frame? Could be both.

🌕 — "The Hermit found The Moon. Where there was once only darkness, there was now her light. And through him, her hidden phases understood." 🎂 Created for my sweetheart's birthday @hopeymirielle.bsky.social 💖 The post I've written for her: prmfd.co/p/pfY7cFdHvAAj #SecondLife

An elven man embraces a woman with a kiss near a tree with their initials carved into the trunk. They are encircled by still, reflective water with glowing lotuses. Falling pink petals suggests that the sakura is in bloom. The moon softly glows in the enchanting purple sky. The scene is romantic with a dreamy, storybook-like feel.

My love @hopeymirielle.bsky.social got a new Oracle Card deck. We drew The Platypus for me which I resonate with. It's what I deeply needed 💖 "The platypus is a unique creature. Don't hide yourself to conform to other's expectations. Your difference is your strength." (Full description in alt text)

An oracle card with a platypus. The description is in Dutch. (English translation is at the end of the Alt text). "Het vogelbekdier. Wees anders, wees compleet, wees jij.
English translation: "The platypus, be different, be complete, be you. The platypus is a unique creature, a blend of different elements, forging its own path. It invites you to explore where you feel strange or different, and consequently conform out of fear of rejection. What parts of yourself do you keep hidden to fit expectations? While deep down you know that your uniqueness is your strength? You don't always have to conform to the expectations of others. What you see as strange or different may actually be your greatest talent and strength. By embracing this, you learn to follow your own path."

I took the photo in Alchemy viewer; my wonderful girlfriend @hopeymirielle.bsky.social helped with GIMP Jacket/Cap by Oracle (courtesy of SLS @akiravoorhees.secondlife.bio ) Head/Body skin by SOMEONE View photos for extra details & credits.

I love this jacket by Oracle (currently at this round's Midnight Order) & SOMEONE Sterling/Titan skin in "Atlas" tone from their Fantasy line. The details are gorgeous that it motivated me to take a photo. It's been a while since I last took one because I've been busy with my love Hopey. However, thanks to her I picked up new tips in regards to SL photography, especially with poses, while watching her stream as she worked on her blogs/photos.

I used Alchemy's Lightbox "Sickly Blue" Colorgrading, a free backdrop & projector lights from Chie Salome, & a base pose from Animosity (slightly modified). My partner then taught me some tips in GIMP such as smoothing lines, fix clipping, draw/add smoke effects, & dodge/burn tool to make the cigarette tip glow. We both worked on the photo separately as I followed her instructions but I chose to upload her version because I'm sentimental & find it cute how I took a photo in-world & that she touched it in GIMP along with my own minimal edits; I cherish the memory of her teaching me & I want to look back on this photo to remember our fun, happy moments together—she was very sweet, patient & cute! Thank you so much sweetie for your support! I had thought about scrapping the original screenshot when I first took it thinking it was not good enough with a black background, but your kind encouragement & ideas taught me a different perspective. I truly appreciate you <3

(This is heavily packed & loaded with personal symbolism compared to my usual photos in regards to stories/themes that I've kept silent to myself these days. I won't write about it this time because I find it thrilling to pour my deepest, most reserved thoughts & feelings out as symbols in plain sight. It feels good to express in public without anyone actually understanding it — but at the same time, if someone does.. there's something quite intimate about that level of understanding/connection.)

Thanks for reading, wish you a fabulous day!

⚖️ Axiom: "His Intuition is Law." — Details & credits in the comments #SecondLife

A dark elven man stands against a black, smoky background wearing a military cape coat is lifting his hat to obscure half his face. His bare, muscular torso displays tattoos that are heavily symbolic, including themes of trusting intuition, listening to the heart, and the tattoos nearest his heart has a sun symbol with the words "her only" and an Arabic phrase that translates to "Express what you feel and remember what you deserve." Down along his center body has another that translates to "A heart of fire, a soul of stone. Stay strong, be yourself." Above his left glowing golden eye has the tattoo of the lunar phases. He has a golden snake-shaped cigarette pressed between his lips and holds a golden pistol while subtly lifting his middle finger as a gesture of defiance with the tip of his thumb lightly on the gun's hammer. His necklace hangs two gold tags with the engravings "The Hermit" and "The Moon" with an infinity symbol on the chain. His body language emphasizes a dark, sensual, dangerous & seductive presence.

Bereft. (Photos 2 of 2) 🌙 "Through darkness & beneath moonlight, I didn't just see what I had lost — I finally saw myself and discovered what had long been part of me." -- Background/Thoughts + Credits + a Bonus photo are in the comments #SecondLife

A well-groomed elven man with neat, stylish comma hair dressed in a white wedding suit sits alone in the darkness, illuminated by soft moonlight as he gazes upward. His face reflects a moment of profound realization, as if the moonlight has awakened something within him—an epiphany or a deep self-discovery.

In a dark enchanted forest, delicate strings of light drape the trees, casting warm, soft glow. A well-groomed elven man in a white wedding suit is bathed in moonlight and stands with arms casually crossed in front of a gazebo. Beside the gazebo is a stone statue of a hooded angel. The man’s expression is introspective, touched with quiet confidence—as if he has emerged from inner darkness with a deeper sense of self, guided by solitude and ethereal light.

A man stands alone on a shore beside a broken rowboat in the darkness, lit by faint moonlight. His posture reflects that he is either waiting for or longing a love lost—or a love that never was. The broken boat beside him echoes a sense of abandonment and the remnants of a romance that he built—yet never carried the one it was meant for. The scene reflects his heavy heartache, interlaced with somber melancholy.

Background / Thoughts

In the 3rd photo where I'm staring out in the sunset toward the surreal violet ocean, I wished to express the deep, hollow sadness felt when experiencing life without a loved one.

Without love—witnessing the beauty of this world & its grandeur becomes truly lonesome.
The magnificence of this moment, the stunning view, only further intensifies the heartache.
Because there's no one to experience it with.

🤣🤣🤣 We were doing Holi's region hunt (Fantasy Faire on Second Life) & the elephant was broken for @lacrymoon.bsky.social Left = Lacry's (DERPYYY👀🐘🤣) Right = Mine (how it's supposed to look LOL)

A small tiger cub & colorful baby elephant on top of seafoam green & hot pink pigment powder. The elephant looks very goofy here, with its large googly eyes bulging out from its head.

I've connected fun memories of "The Ancient One" to my dear friend @lacrymoon.bsky.social 💖 My Primfeed post includes a little background story with my thoughts & credits. (Extra credit: It's not in these photos, but the "Chronos Relic" scythe from yesterday's was from Vae Victus).

I really love this mount! During Fantasy Faire, Second Life feels like playing a high fantasy MMORPG and riding "Xeinos" around makes it even more immersive :D

Background / Thoughts

I've connected fun memories of "The Ancient One" to Lachrymose Moon while we were exploring one of Fantasy Faire's regions, "The Wraithwoods".
There was an enormous version of Xeinos sitting in front of the large Ancient Tree.
She called him cute in local chat—he immediately got up, trotted away & shyly turned his head (I imagined to hide his blush) !!
The timing was perfect & filled with laughter, so I just had to obtain an "Ancient One" of my own to remind me of this; one of the many adorable, fun & wonderful moments during this year's Fantasy Faire with my dearest friend, Lacry <3

(These photos were taken at "Lost Unicorn" because here I had more freedom with the lighting to capture details. If I have time, hopefully before FF 2025 ends, I might take extra photos at "The Wraithwoods" because I love that spot with "The Ancient One" so much!)

Vor'en'thal - "One who comes before Death" My drow, Vorenthal. (Photos 1 of 2) -- My favourite spot @ Fantasy Faire 2025 is at "The Wraithwoods" behind The Ancient One & Tree. I love these two beautiful moons :) #SecondLife

My dark elf on Second Life: In the hush of a dark forest, a white-haired drow stands sentinel, scythe resting by his side like an extension of his will. His smooth silvery skin is etched with ancient markings, as if he was carved from stone itself. He is ornamented in deep, rich forest green with dark gold metallic designs. Antlers curve toward the sky from his skull, like branches from a primordial tree. His wings, feathered and vast like an angel's, are dark brown yet lighter at the tips. A single eye glows with piercing gold light. There is no expression on his face, but he radiates eternal power—unwavering, absolute. Every line of his figure speaks agility and grace, but also danger. He is a godless angel, the harbinger of Death; where he stands, the air holds its breath & awaits his judgement.

My dark elf on Second Life. His vast angel-like wings are spread wide with the beauty of the enormous, white moon behind him.
