Quince fruit baking! Tried slice fresh. Liked first bite. Was chewy. Second bite was too sour. Baked with sugar cinnamon butter. Made house smell good Baking make them taste better/softer, closer apple. Texture bit woody. Maybe should add more butter next time make softer. Taste like apple pie 🥧

The Devil’s Mouth (2026, last for Shark Horror of 2026) 4/5 🦈🦈🦈🦈 Reasons: Few skips Comment: Must be terrifying to be stuck in a dark cave while trying to escape

Deep Water (2026) 3/5 🦈🦈🦈 Reasons: Few of unrealistic and some characters can be stupid Comment: Good movie, great disaster scene at beginning and heartfelt ending

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Thrash (2026) 2/5 🦈🦈 Reasons: Stupid move, unrealistic and weak of excitement Comment: Watched this with my mom and we think it’s not that great shark movie. With the hurricane and sharks swamping the water, it could have been a great movie, but with flaws that pulls it down

Above & Below (2026) 3/5 🦈🦈🦈 Reasons: I was thrilled by this movie, but cannot lie. Few unrealistic, some script might be off Comment: Normally I get turned off from when crime became main focus in shark horror movies. This one has good balance of shark and crime horror! Both keep me entertained.

Color pink sight on end tip of a bud! This Pink Snow Camellia have been sitting in pot for 4 weeks (for new soil in ground to settle) and soon will be plant sometime this week. Excited to see their flowers! 🌱

Chum (2026) 0/5 Reasons: One absurd set up, awkward moves, some talks feel off, could’ves, some wouldn’t happen Comment: At least the shark did look real. Great story concept, but with too many flaws that need some proof editing to make the movie better

The second fly that was caught by Cape Sundew few days ago went dead yesterday by exhaustion of trying to escape/starvation then I helped the plant by moving the fly to middle of leaf. It curls the fly well. Still feasting those two flies 🌱

So far one in Sept Random Picks with 5/5, Strung (2026) follows by one with 4/5, Buddy (2026). The Legend of Lizzie Borden (1975) got 5/5, but it’s crime drama so excused from overall ranking list. Will they make Top 9 by end October? Will see Tomorrow start five shark movies 2026, stay tune 🥀👻🦈

Not much picture to take today, super rainy and gloomy morning lol. Here’s quick info about Thuja Sting, one of not well known arborvitae. I planted this last year at about a foot high and now it’s 2 feet tall. It’s going to be up to 20 feet tall, but only 1 - 1 1/2 foot wide! 🌱

We Bury the Dead (2026) 3/5 🥀🥀🥀 Reasons: Some of pauses and weak of excitement Comment: More of a drama, but still okayish. At least they find a way to start new chapter at the ending.

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

The Convenience Store (2026) Currently available in region of Japan, link to where I watched this movie with AirPlay (mirror phone to TV) in comment 3/5 🥀🥀🥀 Reasons: Not excite/thrill enough, talk Comment: Interesting concept of being similar to The Ring. Maybe I’d enjoy the video game better

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Look like my “Piklim” Cape Sundew is really ready for Halloween since already caught second housefly. Killer of my house! This give me hint how first housefly was already dead before I spot it (inside curled leaf in bottom front). I will help move housefly in middle of leaf after it becomes dead 🌱

0161

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Black Box Flight 298 (2026) 3/5 🥀🥀🥀 Reasons: Okayish CGI and few of “could’ves” Comment: Not so thrilling like Alien movies, but not too bad. That’s all I can say for this movie lol.

050

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Her Private Hell (2026) 3/5 🥀🥀🥀 Reasons: Can be hard understand. Feel slow at some times (makes sleepy) Comment: Impressive filmography art! Feel like watch from year 3000. Make curious about director. Not much about story, not worth hefty rent prices. Would recommend wait till rent price go down

050

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Twisted (2026) 3/5 🥀🥀🥀 Reasons: Talking and vague ending Comment: It’s a surgeon horror so there might be gores. Interesting concept!

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Day two, Cape Sundew from home is wrapping up housefly pretty good, like a ball 🌱

2170

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

The Yeti (2026) 2/5 🥀🥀 Reasons: Some details can become overlooked, some of “could’ve”s, and not enough exposes of monster Comment: It feels like it’s a good movie, but would be much better if it gets improved. 20,000 years old, some kind of prehistoric ape… It could be interesting!

060

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

The Mortuary Assistant (2026) 2/5 🥀🥀 Reasons: Happenings/details can be difficult to understand/complicated, confusing plot and ending feels meh. Comment: Turns out it’s from video game, maybe the video game version might be better!

060

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Not pretty sight, my Cape Sundew caught a housefly first time! It normally catches smaller incests, but this is first time. The housefly was dead when I first saw it, not sure how it goes dead, but I went on help put it on the leave and the plant later curls the housefly. It’s interesting to watch!

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Do Not Enter (2026) 1/5 🥀 Reasons: Main point vague, some reasonings seem off, few details missing/left out, and weak of interest Comment: So if that was reason they went there, then ok…

061

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Scream 7 (2026) 3/5 🥀🥀🥀 Reason: One tiny important detail left me with questions and it feels cheapy after revealing who the killers were Comment: Great thrilling movie! Well except… Not going to spoil lol.

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Killer Whale (2026) 0/5 Reason: Miss unique of orca, unrealistic, obvious mistake, miss detail, bit overdramatized, few not makes sense, bad CGI, not excite/thrill, bit talk, simple kill, unfinish end Comment: Reason above say all. Would been cool movie about horror of “wolves of sea,” but nope.

090

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Return to Silent Hill (2026) 2/5 🥀🥀 Reason: Years I played Silent Hill 2, but feels it isn’t follow game. Plot feels overpacked. Despite great Silent Hill environments, didn’t feel terrify or shock or Comment: Beside reasons, I think it’s okayish. Bummer cuz Silent Hill is one of fave video game

A bit more of miniature red roses! 🥀 (thought to be Salute Miniature Rose, but it grew 5 feet tall already so likely mislabeled, possibly Red Cascade Miniature Climbing Rose, but will see) #roses #flowers #bloomscrolling #gardening #pnwgardening

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Hive (2026, Tubi) 3/5 🥀🥀🥀 Reason: Plot and details might feel a bit off/missing Comment: The movie feels like many happening, but still fun and free to watch since it’s Tubi Original! Well, stay away from playground then lol.

050

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Buddy (2026) 4/5 🥀🥀🥀🥀 Reason: Ending could be more terrifying Comment: Didn’t realize only theaters lol. Thought might be silly horror. I double check reviews, great outcome so went on theater. Great movie! Made me laugh, like “they’re just flowers!” lol! I love beginning!

The Legend of Lizzie Borden (1975) -Replace “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” 5/5 🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀 Reason: Talk/detail, but reasonable. Not in overall rank list, crime drama Comment: Great accuracy. Surprised skulls/hatchet were at court face everyone. Good theory of what might happened. Well made movie!

Zack🥀 @zackrose2.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Horror 2026 Declined to Watch Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan Reason: Liked Jeffrey Dahmer story, then became skeptical about Menendez Brothers story, became disappointed by Ed Gein story leads my decision to skip this one. Mainly due to fictionalized stories.
