Things have no improved for @danquixote.bsky.social and we're now left with 3 days to find a new place for him to stay. We're looking for help in any sense of the word, from a room to stay to possible $ help. We can afford to rent a room, we just need a location.

Still looking for any location or opportunity that can help Dan stay safe and remain housed.

With this discount, I'm making art at $25-50 a piece, easily the cheapest I've offered in a long long time! I'd love to make a piece for you to give as a gift to someone you love! Or someone you hate! Either works for me.

Happy Friday night! I have a huge favor to ask, and luckily this will be one of the last times it will be needed; Dan is signing a lease tomorrow to move in to a place on Monday, 1st month rent and deposit covered by state assistance! Here's my favor I need to ask;

Not sure what to say that I haven't over the last 4 months, but we've lost. Things just keep setting Dan back, all because of the lack of immediate funds. How can someone disabled do a remote job without a home? I have no idea what is going to happen to my friend after tonight. Please share.

I'm taking a moment this morning to mourn the state of things. It's no surprise that everyone is struggling. The fact we have to help each other so directly because the systems built have failed us so terribly, should be reason alone to change things. And yet each year, each month, each day we move forward because our own literal survival is still paramount.

Thank you to those who have donated. I personally know how hard it is to try and support others while you yourself struggle. Waking up each day, not knowing if you'll have a meal or a roof over your head is luckily something most don't have to deal with yet.

For the forgotten and lost, it's just Another Day in Paradise.

Well talk about a rollercoaster of events for one week.
The job that Dan was offered earlier this week has been rescinded because he does not have an active
CA License or registration for his car.
This was not brought up during his multiple contacts and interviews. It wasn't until afterwards that this became an issue.
They want him to spend $600+ on getting things in order while seemingly ignoring the fact he's going to be on the streets this weekend if things don't change. And to top it all off, this was all with United Way, the agency he went to seeking assistance. They asked him to apply. How does the system built to help the homeless not understand this situation?
We will continue to try to get Dan and his boys into a safe place. Please reach out if you have space.

The situation with my friend @danquixote.bsky.social is not improving, if anything we're running out of time. We are desperate for a room we can rent. It is impossible to find work without stable housing first. All energy is on making sure he's not on the street sleeping in his car with his cats.
