iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I don't post often, but when I do my posts get reposted by an Spam account that puts their entire ethos into their username. I can't tell if this is a marketing strategy, scam, or attempt to flood Bluesky. Either way, please know I'm mostly here for the art and cool people.

Just from this illustration I give kudos to texture of personality without going outside of the vibe of the original race. I could see this character fitting into the mythos and allowing it to flourish if the setting could be provided. I'm also a fan of likeable danger noodles.

Okay, getting off soap box. I just have a lot of artist friends who deserve far more recognition than they get and are constantly trounced upon by elitist articles like this.

I say this having seen the backlash of things like the Warcraft art gallery in Laguna Art Museum or frictions with groups like Photonic Playground from local fine art communities. Ironically it was art made for video games or about video games that finally got me into appreciating art.

The "Fine Art Community" is one that takes the longest to come around to acknowledging artistry. Photography was "not art". Film was "not art". CG was "not art". Video Games are "not art". Digital art is "not art".

One of the few times I actually sat at Blizzcon. Ran around 20+ games across 2 days and had such an amazing blast. So many wonderful and cool people down for a little improvisational storytelling and dice throwing. Mad thanks to all those who made this possible. Each player signed my rule book!

Pretty sure I was walking my dog when this was taken and now wish I had paid more attention to my surroundings.

Loving everything about that backstory.

Such fantastic art! So glad you loved that character. He was one of my favorites too.

I have been considering getting an evening game going with folks outside my team. I'll reach out if it starts to become a thing. Nothing real happens until after Blizzcon since that is eating ALL of my RPG energy atm.

I require this sticker. Send your minions to the Last Call at the Arcantina!

I love all of these. Fantastic imagination and execution.

You did have an AI writing its own novel which lives rent free in my head these days as I try to write my own novels while being outpaced by machines.

Eeeeeeee! One of my favorite couples ever! Great work!

This just went in and punched my soul. Bravo.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas! The near futurism of this is on point. Looking forward to seeing Riviera and Molly and the rest of the gang.

This art style had me cackling for a solid five minutes. Well done. I especially like the lighting changes when the explosions are happening off screen. :-D

This feels like a metaphor.

I noticed a huge uptick in this with Google recently. Their AI is trying to "help" but nearly led to missed bills for me.

Somehow I am only seeing this now. I LOVE your take on Ebyssian. Fantastic!

Short Term: Make more World of Warcraft. Long Term: Make more World of Warcraft. (I've been a quest designer for 15 years and loving it. Wouldn't mind the chance to blow up another mountain...)

Our fantastic art team is getting a chance to showcase their stuff. They bring it every time and this expansion has been no exception. So proud of this crew and so happy they get to show off their art!

It just is the perfect mix of places I want to go adventuring in as well as want to go live in. Mystical Cyberpunk Dive bars beneath skyscrapers of mega corporations just waiting to have their phat lootz heisted... Troll toxic shaman vs an elven street samurai. I mean let's go!

So excited to see this piece go up. Liadrin and Alonsus are two characters that have grown on me over the years and super happy to see them get screen time like this. Some fantastic work went into this piece. Enjoy!

And this is how we get Skibity Two: Doo Doo. (This started as a joke but I realized AI would let them loop an anim meme for five hours very easily and be just funny enough to go viral on Youtube earning their money back. Now I'm just sad.)

Love this. They are just out there living their best life. :-D
