iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I’d say playable, but I’ve been wrong before. 😂

000

Definitely not considered one of the top avatars at the moment. They are doing this cool thing where the top player of each avatar with a winner record gets a stunning, full art foil version of the avatar. So, that’s the goal!

100

There’s a big event in November called Avatar of the Realm. Testing for that in general. Plan is to play Battlemage, at least currently.

100

I rarely play anything digital unless I’m testing for a big tournament. Will probably get some online games in between now and November.

100

I’m generally an Aggro player, so I love Battlemage and Avatar of Earth! Have you played?

100

Probably the game I play most right now. Game slaps!

100

I think all the games we support do, but if I had to say just one it would be @sorcerytcg.bsky.social. They’ve got the most unique TCG approach I’ve seen, an obsession with quality, and a lot of momentum.

120

I’ve been almost exclusively on the “indie” side of things, so don’t have a lot of context for mass market games or overall health. It feels like a bubble in a sense there will likely be some retraction, but the future of card games seems incredibly bright compared to those days.

100

Healthier is a very nuanced word. 😁 There are a LOT more players and retailers of card games, which has become mainstream or close to it. I think a lot more games can be sustainably successful right now, but competition is waaaay higher.

100

This note came with a #PokemonTCG card I received recently and it really resonated with me. Nearly twenty years ago, I was the 18-year-old kid in college selling single #TCG cards online. I’m rooting for you, Freezey!

150

It’s disgustingly good. 🔥

Definitely draftable by design. There are only four colors in this game, so I think that helps.

100

I assume a cube of this would be excellent. These packs straight up feel great though.

100

I drafted a fire/air deck and pulled a Persecutor on the third pack. Deck was immediately 2x as good. 😂

Played a @sorcerytcg.bsky.social draft at PUGS tonight and had a blast!! Gothic is a home run set and the new play network worked like a charm. #TCG #CCG #cardgames

I think that would work just fine, honestly. Even someone joining with a deck from a different campaign would work.

My main group is 4, but I think “ideal” would be 2-3. That said, if I didn’t have my group I’d absolutely play this solo. I’ve heard really good things about solo play throughs.

Stayed up waaaay too late playing Earthborne last night, but it was totally worth it!! This was our second session of Legacy of the Ancestors (the first expansion) and we had so much fun. The caves are very cool. 👌 @earthbornegames.bsky.social #ttrpg #boardgames #cardgames

Hard to say. Probably Necromancer or Archimago, if I had to guess.

000

The top player of each avatar with a winning record gets a full art, foil version of their avatar with an Avatar of the Realm icon on it. I think this will lead to a wildly varied meta!

210

The fact that this was hand painted is just absurd. We are eating well in Sorcery-land.

Testing has officially begun for @sorcerytcg.bsky.social Avatar of the Realm. I just can’t resist Battlemage. 🔥 Send help. #TCG #CCG

Agree. Wish they’d started with it!

I wouldn’t call myself #comicbook fan, but having comics release alongside a card game (Alpha Clash) is pretty rad. #TCG #cardgames

Spent the morning with friends playing one of my favorite childhood games, Epic Duels. It’s not perfect, but it is a blast! Do you have any childhood favorites that hold up? #boardgames #starwars

“Revenge is not the Jedi way.” - Vader “I am no Jedi.” - Ahsoka I’ve been working on an upgraded set of Epic Duels #miniatures for my friend’s annual event tomorrow. When sorting minis this morning, I couldn’t help but snap this shot that reminded me of one of my favorite #StarWars moments.

Amazing as usual! Do you have a way/place you typically auction your art?

Zach Bunn @zachbunn.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Haha! That happens. Some lists going around that have won online leagues that seem decent.

Zach & Steven will be live at 12PM Tulsa time chatting about first impressions of Earthborne Trailblazer! We tested the game last month with our friends from @earthbornegames.bsky.social and could not be more excited!

Finished our first Earthborne Rangers (Lure of the Valley) campaign last night. What a game!! There’s nothing quite like it. @earthbornegames.bsky.social #earthborne #rpg #cardgame

Oh yeah, love Retsov (probably my favorite set 1 Warlord). She won an early, online tournament and the deck seemed a bit cracked. So, I built Clydragen decks to play against all my friends who are exploring less juiced decks right now. You have a deck list?

Currently working on Shyessa and Wa’san Wolf-Spirit! Games so far have been super fun. I actually was able to get dragons out in row 5 and get them into the action. They definitely feel like big, mean dragons when they get to the front!

+1000000 I hear people complain about this all the time in card games without really knowing what they are asking for and/or why they enjoy the game they love.
