This is good for the Cavs. You weren’t realistically negotiating him off a max. So it’s better he agreed this summer and not next summer when it would have been even higher.

I’m getting DRAGGED in the comments for being concerned that the #Sixers are building a team that doesn’t maximize Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecomb. The individual moves aren’t the problem. It’s the vision for how they’re building around those two guys I’m not wild about. www.tiktok.com/t/ZTSf9XwmW/

If not large, it is definitely a very loud percentage!

In a combined 2023, 24 & 25 redraft, ESPN had Chase Burns going 5th overall behind Skenes, Griffin, Kurtz and McGonigle. They also had Mike Sirota go at 28 to rub some more salt in that wound. #Reds #MLB

I have a comments section filled with Lakers fans who are quite pleased at the moment…

Well it happened…. The #Reds beat the Brewers. I assume this means a playoff push?

I think the “off the bench” is doing a lot of work in a sport where rotations play such a big role. Most teams only play starters at the beginning of the 1st and 3rd. Then it’s combinations. And I just worry that adding ball dominant, shoot first players could stunt their growth.

I was just thinking there’s nobody I’d have more faith in going yard off Miz with 2 on than….. Jose Trevino! 🤣 Go #Reds!

Maybe you’re right. I just REALLY like that back court and I would be prioritizing their growth over everything else in Philly and these moves feel like the opposite priority.

Isn’t that what you’d want VJ doing? And Jaylen Brown? Now on top of trying to balance the Embiid of it all there are a lot of dudes who want the ball in their hands.

If I’m playing against the #Reds I don’t know why I wouldn’t have almost every runner who touches first base off and running…

Exactly! And somehow it’s even worse in the WNBA. It’s literally EVERY call.

I don’t like that the #Sixers keep adding dudes who’s primary contribution are taking the ball out of the hands of the most exciting young back court in basketball…

The #WNBA has struck gold with the guards in the last 3 drafts: Clark, Paige and Olivia are all appointment viewing!

The Celtics will still be good. They took a talent step backwards but they may have gained clarity. This is very clearly going to be built around Tatum now. No more tiptoeing around JB’s feelings about who “the guy” is.

And stop going to the monitor for every call. Make the call and keep it moving. If a player spins their finger - call the challenge. They’ll run out in the first 5 mins and we won’t have to see them do it constantly. Yes, I want to get calls right. But we’ve reached a point of overcorrection.

The #Reds making a win now move to bring in an OF at the deadline after ignoring it all offseason would be the most shocking outcome aside from “we’re trading Elly and Burns in a combo deal to the Dodgers for a timeshare on the beach!” #MLB
