This is not accurate. If an investor sells $50k of stock, they in fact have to pay income tax on $50k of 'realized gains'. They do not pay tax $50k of unrealized gains (not sold), because tomorrow it could be worth $25k based on market fluctuations, so they only pay tax on the value when they sell.

Last one on Bluesky. I'm still doing it on X. It's just that after I stopped tagging, almost no one participated anymore here. I also had a lot of hope for Bluesky, but almost no one I invite to the app stays. It sadly doesn't feel like the community here is growing.
