I just fact-checked this and YES it WAS the judge who changed the sentence to 60 days. And YES, Paxton just lied about it, implying that it was his idea for 60-days vs the lighter sentence he actually attempted to get, during his interview at the U.S. Hispanic Business Council in Dallas.
