Hmm. In #DreamNoMore, I kind of want to throw in either Seo-Yeon or Zandra. Sy does all the tracking, locates missing characters, and hacks into databases. However, Zandra is the one who always smacks Dan back into using his brain cells when he starts spiralling down. 🤔

Fun fact: #DreamNoMore was originally a setting for homebrew #oWoD (more specifically #MtA). The game never happened, and because I didn't want to give up on it, I turned it into a novel. But more recently, the game actually happened with a different group. And Dan is just... peak Dan. 😂

The mage characters are super new, barely Awakened. I had them meet Magda, as a semi-beginner mage herself, and therefore Dan wouldn't be very far.
One of the two player characters, Ema, is a future Dreamspeaker who's very kind, somewhat naive, and loves cooking. Like, really loves cooking. She brought food for everyone and, obviously, Dan didn't touch it at all, which prompted her later to worry about his "allergies or intolerances" (of course she hasn't clocked the whole vampire thing yet, she's still learning about the mage thing), and... This bit of dialogue ensued:

Ema: "But have you tried Italian food? French?"
Dan: "Oh, yes, pretty sure I've already eaten Italians and French."
Ema: "What about African food? Cause there are so many different foods from all these countries! Have you tried Somali food? Or from Cameroon? Egypt?"
Dan: "Hmm, maybe? Probably? Hard to tell."
Ema: "How come?"
Dan: "...Come on, I'm not asking for their passports every time!"
