Interesting focus! I tend to lose track a lot in creating so choosing just 1 to share highlights how much I love what I'm doing even if they're never printed. I decided to share this one because when I get lost in detail (I have a Mercury co-ruled chart) I know I'm delving deeper into my psyche!

Yesterday was a wonderful day! (tho not free of sleep deprivation or stomach ache or nerve pain) 'cos we had a family day, putting up the real tree & decorating it together & watching the latest episode of Outlander & the fire was on, etc. I am so glad for yesterday! PEM = Life hangover today 🥺

Tonight I was sketching about the Mid-Winter custom of #MariLwyd for #FolktaleWeek2024 in Fresco! My last livestream on Bēhance is next week before moving on to the Twitch. I've even started adding videos to the YouTube. Feels like I'm doing something useful with my bed-living life. #DisabilityLove

Screenshot of Yvie's iPad using the Adobe Fresco app. Tools are on the left side, page layers are on the right side. Opened up on the left are the colour palettes and colour wheel. The rough sketch illustration on the main page is a zoomed-in view of the Mari Lwyd illustration on a street of colourful terraced houses. The Mari Lwyd is a horse's skull on a stick with ribbons and flowers, which is being held by a person under a white sheet. The Mari Lwyd is outside a house where the front door is open and musical notes and lights are streaming from it.

Day 2 of #FolktaleWeek is Gate! I found a sweet little tale in "Ghosts" by @folklorewales.com & @folklorepod.bsky.social of the old man who waited at the gate to light a path safely at night. ✨ Another WIP piece but sharing it cos darn that perfectionism! @folktaleweek.bsky.social #FolktaleWeekGate

Digital illustration by Yvie Juniper-Johnson. An image showing the luminescent ghost of an old man wearing a flat cap, he is at the centre left of image, holding up a lantern which shines on the stone path and the the surrounding fence and hedge. He is opening a gate at the entrance to the stone path which leads to a peaked roof house in the background. The house has a weather vane at the top with a Welsh Dragon or Ddraig Goch. A few lights shine from the windows. The sky is darkening and the light is fading. There is a full moon above the hills in the distance. Darkened trees and branches frame the image. Text on the image reads “The Ghost of the Old Man of Bryn Goleu from The Folklore of Wales”. A label on the wooden fence by the gate reads “Gate”.

Repost your art that has stars ✨

Digital Illustration by Yvie Juniper-Johnson: A person wearing a coral orange top with stripes of blue inverted triangles in a mandala-esque design and jeans, blue belt and blue shoes, sits on a stool with their eyes closed, and head raised hopefully looking towards the light. They have purple hair that flows down their shoulders, with a yellow barrette on one side, pinned above their right ear. In one hand, they are holding onto a blue leash that’s tied around a dog with black and white fur, wearing an orange coat. Their other hand is holding down a pull chain that lights up a yellow spotlight above them. A bulb that is attached to an orange bulb holder is visible. The background is in dark blue with twinkling stars shown in light blue. There is imagery of sunflowers in three places in the illustration–four sunflowers growing from the ground beside the stool that they are sitting on, on the left side of the top they are wearing, and as a brown line illustration on their left arm.
