yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 02/07/2026Hey! Could you share a bit about your AI workflow? 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 24/02/2026Writing on interaction will LLM will be great and get a lot of attention. 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 22/02/2026@danabra.mov If you have a bit time for consultation I would really appreciate it! Sent you email 🙂 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 17/02/2026What about the layer between the Design System. Often the server data doesn’t match the API of DS components (logos, icons, tags, categories, etc.), so we need a mapping layer before passing the data. Is there a recommended pattern for handling this? Maybe a small example you can share? 010
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026Use a library for the code playground ? 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026I start very focus migration of one page with Cursor, but I very involved and review the code while the process. After I finish and all went well then I ask Cursor "what are the guidelines for migration like this PR".. Get great prompts that reflect my work. Then start to apply it on more places. 010
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026Yeah sure, I think that LLM are excell at convert one thing that is relatively clear to another language/framework (see all the migration from rust -> ts -> go etc) I'm now working on migration from old components to new ds system and it a bit different process. I do "reverse prompt" 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026Nice cool. Once you free sent you email about consulting :) 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026So session with Claude -> review edit -> commit? 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026Dan are you only work with Claude or do you have IDE that you review/edit code? 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026There is a lot of buzz around i don't write code anymore.. but I feel that in those case I need to be very accurate and and put strong foundations so the AI will be able to follow right.. 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026That will be great! I'm working on the design-system in company so it would be great to hear your experience :) 120
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026Could you share your experience with AI in your work? 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026Sorry codex can be just model.. so just want to be sure.. :) 010
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 16/02/2026Which agents tool did you use? Codex / Clude / Cursor? 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 11/02/2026@danabra.mov are you still opening for consultanting? 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 10/02/2026@danabra.mov are you still open for consultation? 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Cursor agents have much better UX for those issues... 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 12/01/2026@danabra.mov Could you share how do you setup a project with Claude? Do you give it to create it alone or strat it manually and after this the baseline you start to prompt? 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 11/01/2026Dan can you share why do use Claude over Cursor? 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 09/01/2026Can you explain it a bit more? Which IDE is that? 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 06/01/2026Dan can you share you Claude setup? Recommendations? Workflows? How do you keep your brain from stopping learning? 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 05/01/2026How do you keep your learning path these days? 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 05/01/2026Dan, what’s your take on the recent hype around developing without an IDE—mostly with Claude? It feels magical, but I worry it atrophies core skills. The friction of working directly with code and files fuels learning, progress, and real understanding. Maybe it not important anymore? 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 27/12/2025Great read!! Want to discuss it more? Would like to chat about it! 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 25/12/2025If that’s the case, what do you think it implies for the developer experience of languages, packages, and frameworks? In some sense, the DX is no longer in the code — it’s in Claude! 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 25/12/2025Cool. Thanks! Can you describe a bit the beginning of the process? Did you describe the stack? The folder structure? How does that looked like? 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 25/12/2025Cool, so basically you don't do any manual code? Even the changes made thorough prompts? 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 25/12/2025Do you use it through the terminal? How do you review the code and manage the workflow? Do you prompt in the terminal and then check the results in your IDE? I’ve found it hard to stay involves and verify the output. Compared to Cursor, Claude feels much more vibe coding.. what do you feel? 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 25/12/2025Hey @danabra.mov can you share your development workflow with Claude code? Form my experience it harder to be involved during the development versus Cursor.. 120
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 14/09/2025Yes you're right. Bummer, styled components was such a great tool! 010
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 12/09/2025Josh, I guess you'll find this post interesting www.sanity.io/blog/cut-sty... yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 09/06/2025So maybe it’s convenient to think of it like this: 'use client' → browser’s JS Import me on the server where you need more than just HTML. 'use server' → server JS called via HTTP Import me on the client where you want to trigger that HTTP call. 010
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 09/06/2025It's not about continuing the same flow - It's about reducing the amount of work, and get client/server API out of the box. 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 09/06/2025On the other hand, 'use server' is more like: I know I want to call specific server-side code — so instead of creating an API endpoint and calling it with fetch, I just add 'use server', and the bundler handles it for me. 100
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 09/06/2025So we start building the *client* on the server (with JSX), and when we hit points that can't be handled on the server, we add 'use client'. Meaning: "I can't run this code on the server, so when you get to the client — use me there." 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 09/06/2025What I'm trying to emphasize is that RSC enables sending a response that describes client things — an HTML document with JSX. Want to add interactivity or behaviors to that? Just add modules that can or should be executed on the client, right where you need them. It's to continue the same flow! 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 09/06/2025Great read! Now that I finally get it, I'll put it a bit differently, because I feel they aren't exactly the same doors. Want add code to the server response (HTML/RSC JSON) to be executed on the client? → Add 'use client'. Want to execute server code from the client? → Add 'use server'. 110
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 06/06/2025Don't stop. Your all latest articles are brilliant and enjoyable. Thanks. 010
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 07/05/2025Pretty sure that if you posted it on Twitter it was get a lot more attention. 000
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 22/04/2025"The backend passes data to the fronten" Wow. It's simple yet brilliant 👏 I remember trying to wrap my head around things when I switched from PHP to a React SPA. I was like, “Wait a minute... we were already on the server—why are we just getting an empty HTML page from it?” 170
yuvalshimoni.bsky.social @yuvalshimoni.bsky.social · 22/04/2025Maybe in the case of Next it's too late, but won't it was more simple to stay with SPA router BUT with option to call endpoints that return RSC json and can integrated into the the client tree? @danabra.mov like to stop one step before you created the * Route component endpoint. 110
