Fey finally got to meet her mom and despite knowing who she really is, I got a bit emotional 😭 Feys mom died when she was just 12 years old (she's in her 40s now), and she barely remembers that time, so she might feel some connection at the sight of her, but can't put her finger on it.

After I had exported my picture of Mags yesterday as a .png I wanted to close Photoshop. It asked if I wanted to save the changes to the file, I said yes, my laptop crashed immediately after. Now my .psd file is broken and it also killed the version history in the creative cloud. 🥲

Sometimes I take ages, because I get distracted... Not today though. 3 hours for this level of detail is fine. I remade the drawing of mags that I did in July last year, putting her into the hero forge outfit and with my current drawing style. I like both versions. @d3podcastshow.bsky.social

New version of mags. Same posture, sitting on a log by a fire with her sword leaned next yo her and a bow strapped to her back, but in a more battle worthy armor in browns and greens with leaf design.

Difital illustration of Mags from a year ago in what I pictured after episode 3 or 4 of the podcast. Full fantasy elven dress and cape in green.

It's a national holiday in germany tomorrow. So stores are closed for two days in a row and as always, people apparently will starve over the weekend. And gods forbid the they can't buy the cheap, unnecessary stuff my store sells for two whole days!

I'll redraw a drawing from last year. For direct improvement comparision. And because I can.

Got a diagnosis! Good things first: - It's not neurological. There is visual damage on my macula (central part of the retina) - It usually does not impair further vision (except for the obvious loss in the damaged part)

I do reverse image searches with my pictures. Like...everyone should, right? One of my drawings landed on reddit with people discussing, if it's AI.

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yeah...I can work with that. Ignore the background nonsense, I'll likely not draw one. #sketch #wip

I may have taken 1,5h, just to get this pose. Why so long, you ask? Well...I accidentally loaded another one, before saving it and had to start over!

020

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Hmm... Finishing the Verso-Chibi, starting the Geralt-Chibi, continuing my hand drawn animation or starting Yggdrasil? (I'll do the latter, because I am an inconsistent dumbhead.) Made her a half-orc path of the world tree barbarian, because obviously? That wasn't even a choice, it's in her name!

Aaaand nothing from the eye doctor. They did an OCT, everything looks normal, so it's not in my eye, it's neurological. More doctors... Is that the "getting old" people are talking about?

150

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Also...gonna have to call the on-call medical service, because I am seeing a constant grey spot on one eye and I know that is not normal.

Not requested, but I really wanted to draw an animal. So I went after this queen. @madamenostalgic.bsky.social Let me know if you want the original file. #digitaldrawing Video will follow.

Sitting in the tub, because back hurts, watching my 4yo through the open door. She runs from right to left, rumble rumble, stalks back in a pair of my high heels. Runs again, gets new pair, mismatching this time. Another round, comes back in heels I completely forgot I owned. Shoe inventory taking.

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Slooowly getting somewhere. It got light! The whole staff comes in 4 pieces so it can fit in my suitcase. But still far from finished. It still needs vines and leaves (maybe flowers) and some leather wrapping. Have to figure out how to hide the points where it connects...

I should definitely traumatise my girl a bit more and create her dead mom as her dream guardian! (Will I ever finish another playthrough?)

Screenshots from the character creation in BG3 from my DnD-OC Feawen and her mother as her dream guardian.

031

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Ok... Anyone has mod-recommendations for nice half-orc heads for BG3 My brain refuses to picture her. All I know is orc or half-orc... And despite my I-don't-know-how-many character creation mods, I only have the vanilla heads for that 😅

020

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I randomly remembered an OC of mine from when I was 16, when I was on my way home from work. Just a "Oh...remember Yggi (short for Yggdrasil...don't ask). No? Brutal muscle girl, raised as a male? Yeah...there you go. She existed!" I'll have to draw her...

Isn't she cute? I will never not love Kilnip. I'll bring a few of each to MCM in October. As gifts.

I've had this scar since I can remember. Never thought much about it. It's just there, you know? So a few weeks ago I got a tick vaccination. At the pediatrician because the doctor wanted to poke us all.

I'll be back on Twitch in an hour. The VOD from yesterday (sketch and lineart) is on Twitch and Youtube. Today I'll correct a few things in the lineart (not happy with eyes and hair!) and color him.

They are painting the staircase in my apartment building and holy shit. One man is holding the ladder, another one climbs up. ON THE FREAKING STAIRS, just on leg of the ladder touching the ground. Waiting for Darwin Award, I assume. Or: the reason women have longer life expectancy.

040

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I decided: will bring one to MCM London. I'll be there the whole day Friday and Saturday and maaaybe Sunday (depending on how wasted I am by then). I'll throw it (literally) at the first person to find me and ask about the penis pen. If noone does, I'll scribble down portraits with it 🥲

230

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Nah...not today. I look like shit. I'll do it tomorrow.

040

Yuri @yurimiez.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Hmm. I got 3 more days off of work, including today and I am thinking about stepping out of my comfort zone and do a drawing stream. Sketch to finish of a Verso-chibi. (That is not just stepping out, that is a leap. A giant one!) Like...in front of approximately zero viewers 😆 4pm UTC+2. Maybe.

Okay, don't know what I was thinking... Vegan, gluten free, without added sugar and safe for allergies. They have nothing in common with cookies, except their looks. But if I tell people it's...I dunno, Lembas and dipped in honey, they are awesome!

Husband convinced me to accompany him to the opening of this: kreativ-quartier-potsdam.de (Basically a big complex packed with artist ateliers.) Just wanted to enjoy my Bratwurst and suddenly had to witness 5 people dancing out what I'd interpret as a strange mating ritual. Good morning.

Eldest child is gone for their school trip to Scotland. Youngest one decided to puke first thing in the morning. I have a whole-day-shift because my teamleader is sick and I had to jump in and I can feel myself getting sick too. Perfect.

Ezio is coming together. It's so hard to keep it simple and at the same time include the details that make him recognisable AND fit with my other chibi drawings, since he will join my "Wall of Signings". I think I went too detailed 😆

Wip of a digital drawing of Ezio as he looked in Revelations.
