okay, i'm GOING to learn airtable. i'm gonna do it. i'm intimidated and confused but that has rarely ever stopped me before!!! raaaaah!!

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 8h

ive heard good things about both! tbh the most i wanna do rn is like... custom twitch chat visuals for streamers maybe? using my pixel art? and maybe little apps or something. i do one day want to make a game but im p sure i don't need js for that.

120

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 8h

RIGHT, like by the time i wrestle with notion enough to get it to do what i want, i'm so annoyed with it that i just abandon the project LMAO

010

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 8h

i should learn javascript. probably. right?

2131

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 10h

i keep telling myself that i should learn how to use notion more robustly, but the amount of times i've found that notion can't do what i know *for certain* a spreadsheet can do in fewer words and easier??? truly TRULY drives me up a wally.

tiny man horrified at the prospect of being rigged.

a screenshot of a vtuber being rigged, with gray rectangles around each individual section. the character is a black sheep with blue eyes and white-and-blue hair, with large black and blue ears, and tall blue horns. They are wearing white headphones, and a white oversized hoodie. the vtuber seems terrified at the prospect of its own existence.

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 01/10/2026

if i do happen to make a sticker club, it'd probably be a super simple snail mail club with 1 sticker and one print and maybe one tiny sticker sheet... hmmm much to think about... hmm hmm

010

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 01/10/2026

like when i see sticker clubs and it's like 3 vinyl stickers 2 sticker sheets a tier based freebie a print a letter and a washi tape sample my only thought is "how can anyone do this while working a 40hr day job on top of that"

180

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 01/10/2026

i see people do sticker clubs and i wanna do them so bad but i make a print like once every blue supermoons-

haha yeah, benefit of being a Things and Stuff shopkeep lmao!

010

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 01/10/2026

it does, but at the same time, i have *so* much of my own merch on me at all times that showing off B roll of my day to day of making things and drawing things isn't so bad. i just need to have enough b roll saved (maybe in a folder lmao) to just make a quick thing daily.

100

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 01/10/2026

... while you're recording, then that's what it wants. like showing off a coffee run, but you're wearing merch you made or have one of your keychains in your hand or have your ipad open with a wip visible on the side. just showing how you're arting in big or little ways at least a little every day.

1130

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 01/10/2026

from what i've learned about instagram, it's less about posting finished pieces and more about posting what you're up to in the moment, every day, whether it's drawing, running a cutting machine or 3D printer, ordering goods, grabbing coffee, etc. just as long as your art is in frame somewhere (1/2)

mimi 🐑 pixel artist @yumemimir.art · 01/10/2026

instagram is now being categorized into the "difficult but allegedly rewarding" social media platform in my mind, because if you GET IT it does wonders, but if you often forget it exists it'll punish you for it

Art only has meaning if humans make it. That is its only value. “Art” without human input is just a facsimile and completely devoid of any meaning or merit. I don’t understand how these people don’t get that

i wanna be able to be an all rounder! i wanna be able to do little sprites and icons and backgrounds and tile sets and more large-size illustrative pixel works and mixed media and more... /delulu

redoing my portfolio to be less gimicky and more "this is my art"-ey. its making me realize i should do more print-y stuff and less individual-sprite-ey stuff, methinks.

yippee yippee! now that my etsy is closed, i finally migrated my mistria minis to the acggoods storefront! i would've been way too sad to have these just disappear when people ask for them so often. <3 here's the link! acggoods.com/store/yumemimir?tab=al…

i'm so curious about this so! pixel artists out there, what's the one thing you most struggle with pixelating? i'll go first: trees. idk why, trees are absurdly hard to me.

I have come to an extraordinarily saddening conclusion. my hamster is very fucking stupid. she can't solve puzzles, consistently traps herself in very avoidable positions, and cannot find food unless it is placed ONTO her face. my poor idiot baby.
