Guess who just said “Leonardo DaVincio“ instead of Leonardo DeCaprio

I have come to the realization that I hate philosophy, despite wishing to be a philosopher. All of these people just go in circles defining “consciousness“ and “reality” and “ideals”. It’s all fake. But sadly, it isn’t all gay.

Bought 2 new games, which is insane because I don’t play video games. However, these games are basically just job simulators, and I LOVE doing jobs.

New 忘川风华录 song, this time nominally following an Empress Dowager of Qin, but really about the slow march of centralization through the Warring States period. Also, my book on the Warring States period (To Rule all Under Heaven) came in, so I'll be reading that this weekend :)

that means no more "i'm biologically male/female" "i'm afab/amab" btw. dropping associations with assigned sex. there's better ways to talk about this, & i guarantee you that experiences of gendered violence among trans and nonbinary people are not just based on body metaphysics or temporal events.

the only requirement is dropping assigned sex. it's more a promise, than anything, to say that if you're taking not being cis seriously you reject the category of cisness it imposes on you (assigned sex).

i think the bare minimum for trans politics is dropping association w/ your assigned sex. this can mean not having a sex at all, this can mean that your sex is neither male nor female but nonbinary, this can mean you're changing sex, etc. it requires no medical

i've been hammering it home a lot lately but it feels like due to the last two years more trans and nonbinary people have become acutely aware that the "trans summer" will never arrive unless there is a way to put a dent in sex / sexing the body by any means necessary

people think naturally foreshadowing a plot twist by inferring information from the environment that was put there on purpose makes it bad writing. so naturally it has to be a red herring. because otherwise it's bad.
