The pain of setting up a new laptop that also means an involutary upgrade to Windows 11. I had to because my old one...works, but I can't close it because the hinges are so badly cracked the whole thing is liable to break and I have to travel for business. No backlit keyboard too D:

Imagine a bus comes every 21 frames. You are a mascot on the bus.

The cascading cards sent me. The music is banging. I think I'm there with you on Unc Slop.

I've never played it as it's not my thing, but that intro with the live action is just so good and I have played it many times.

Mate I'm so sorry I've been so crazed busy at work I didn't realise how rough you'd had it. It really is dreadful how much we gotta bust our balls just to keep going. I'm really hoping good things in the lead up to Xmas for ya.

FurDu has had this pain for a few years now and it really does make the whole thing exhausting. I dread it rather than look forward to it now.

What the hell, Lindsay? I giggled like mad seeing this haha. Can't wait to watch.

Oh man as a former TCG player it's insane to me how random cards that are bulk are essential to play the game. Some days I really miss it but it really is incredible how all the value is as a collection and so little on gameplay beyond some older cards being harder to find mint cuz they were meta.

Have a blast! Long way to come from Australia but it sounds delightful.

Birds have always been special. The first mascot I loved was a falcon. The first I played, an eagle. My high school mascot in Davison, Michigan was a cardinal, but neither the time nor suit was right. Until now. Say hello to Davison. All credit to @henrieke.bsky.social & @karpour.bsky.social.

Davison the Cardinal and Croc sit looking at each other on a cloudy day in Vienna, Austria.

Here's Davison! Built by @karpour.bsky.social and me, and brought to life by @audiodile.bsky.social. Karpour did most of the body, which included and insane amount of work on all the feathers, and I did most of the head. But all of it is a collaboration as always! I hope he'll make many friends!

Truly this is the crux of it. People don't want friction in hobbies.

Oh no! I liked the changes videos. The invisible gun one is also the only video I donated enough to get my name read out and that feels fitting.

I only watched Legend of Korra for the first time last year! Have fun with it. There's a reason people are still talking about it.

I like to think I'm in a rut, but I think I'm just settling into a routine of early-middle age and it's a bit confronting. Work is crazy and I need to find ways to unwind for rest.

I did this with Yo-Kai Watch 1 which I reckon I hadn't touched in well over 10 years and it was fine which was a relief. There's a few other games I probably should do it with but when the eShop was shutting down I think I checked most of them anyway to make sure.

I saw one by Swell Entertainment on DenFur as an event review and have followed ever since. It was very even handed and I reckon you'd enjoy her takes.

Orphen: Scion of Sorcery is what got me into anime and I think is simply ahead of its time in the sense it came out before the anime hit America (less than a year). It's got a banging soundtrack and unique gameplay. I've only got through it thrice because the final boss is hard as balls but so good.
