Yay! Great closer. I had Icona Pop’s I Don’t Care (lyrics written and sung by Charli XCX, with the line ‘I crashed my car into the bridge’) as a possible token! Thanks so much for hosting today.

Think I’ll struggle with this episode of Portrait Artist of The Year with Louis Theroux and Anthony Scaramucci featuring. Joanna Scanlan making up for them.

3 and 8 were the only answers I didn’t guess at. Horrible.

This was a possible pick for me; excellent choice.

It does lend itself to a rousing crescendo!

That’s ok; it must be hard keeping on top of who’s replied when!

Yay for hot water bottle and blanket snuggles. Rest well now. It’s very chilly here too.

She’s got weird, Megan Fox stumpy thumbs too.

I remember seeing this article at the time; not an actor or film I knew but recognised his face.

Can’t stop thinking about the gig last night. Hard to believe Shawn is 70; yes, her voice isn’t what it was but there’s a maturity now which makes the songs hit differently. And held the audience for 90 minutes, just her and the guitar. No backing tracks, no backing singers. ❤️

Doing bugger all else today other than staying cosy and watching telly. Incredibly tired all of a sudden.

Not just the ones he sang but a few well kent tunes for others too.

I’m reminded of Poly Styrene and X-Ray Spex.

There’s something about Tony Newley that I find a bit threatening. Interesting version of the song; I have been up and down the City Road and in and out of The Eagle but saw no rice, treacle or weasels!

I think it doesn’t get as much acknowledgment as some of her other bigger hits.

COVID jab done; arm’s a bit achy but all good otherwise. New baby card & John Lewis vouchers purchased but bloody hell, Westfield St James is torture. All the glass gives me horrible vertigo. Can’t cope higher than the second floor & it was so busy, had a bit of a wobbly turn. Glad to be home.

Oh god yes, she’s magnificent in that scene, I cry every time. Might have to watch it now! Counts as a Halloween film too 😂
