And what is wrong with you that you stand not for the Cause of Allah; Nor help those who are weak, ill-treated, oppressed, and whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town of oppressors: And raise for us from You one who will protect, And raise for us from You one who will help." —Quran 04:75

I think everyone ought to read Sahih Al-Bukhari. 💚 I think a great edition for anyone interested to start with is the copy I have. It's not complete in the traditional sense, but it is a very good edition that the 9 volumes together in one volume without repetition.

I do not understand Zionism, or the blind allegiance to Israel I still see among some American Jews and Christians, in the midst of the genocide of Palestinians. My new essay for @972mag.com considers Benjamin Moser’s Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History: www.972mag.com/jewish-anti-... #news #Gaza

A restored history of Jewish anti-Zionism — and the loss it cannot repair
Benjamin Moser's new book recovers a tradition of dissenters who paid a price for opposing Palestinian dispossession, even as they could not prevent it.
