The next guy in charge is going to be UAB’s Executive Director of Business Operations so that bodes poorly for the quality of future product from WBHM. Anyway, I was nice about it but told them they have to remove the "independent" and "journalism" parts of their station's description.

Got an email from the soon to be leaving executive director at WBHM, the city's local NPR affiliate, letting listeners know that because of Kay Ivey's signature on a bill that they are required to say "Gulf of America" in any communication. As UAB employees anything said is "official communication."

Now I get to see how I deal with Tirzepatide instead of Semaglutide, which did seems to work fine and no particular side effects. Just couldn't get the coverage worked out even though I definitely qualify because of the heart condition. Anyway, barely trying over 2 months and I'm down 9 lbs on it.

Tuberville campaign has bought up huge blocks of ads on out of market sports streaming. On repeat for Tigers/Rockies, Guards/Twins on MLBtv and Vandy/Delaware on ESPN+. The ad is very dull, cut taxes , "do more with less," no Trump or deportations or Islam. Haven't seen it anywhere else much.

Newest Darkest Hour single is fine I guess. I don't know how long you can keep biting Slaughter of the Soul but it's at least 30 years now. I saw them on what had to be one of their first tours supporting Damnation AD in 1996 with a somewhat fresh driver's license and now I'm old as hell.

I have mostly moved towards apple passwords and my 1pass subscription is via work so I'm going to move the few OTP generators I have left personally from there into another authentication program. Next will be trying to get work to move away, though it's pretty ingrained with our workflows.

I turned 46 this year and heard too many stories and knew too many people going through it that I had mine and got a clean bill. I can't tell you how relieving it was to get good news considering the time I previously started down a medical diagnostic path it ended with open heart surgery.
