#ttrpg Review of Brindlewood Bay A TTRPG that left me curious! I loved the evocative art and structured-yet-open system. My main concerns are the omnipresence of sex in prompts, making some lines/veils hard to respect, and the mysteries being too open to judge yet.

The Inadequate Heir (The Bridge Kingdom #3) 🪐📚💙 🎧📚 #readersky A decent romantasy, but quite repetitive after the first duology, with a romance that didn't fully convince me. Still, the final chapters set up what seems like a much more interesting sequel.

#ttrpg Review of Koriko : A Magical Year What a wonderful TTRPG! Clever prompts gave me tons of ideas right away, and the Kiki's Delivery Service atmosphere is spot-on. Airy layout, gorgeous art, simple rules, and easy-to-find info. I'm already hooked!

Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows #2) I enjoyed this volume, though it felt a little too long. Nina was fascinating, while Kaz remained too cliché for my taste. The other characters felt more profound, but I'm excited for Shadow & Bone and its mysterious magic system. #booksky #readersky 🪐📚💙

#ttrpg #d&d5e Book review : Waterdeep Dragon Heist I had high hopes for this module, praised as one of D&D 5e's best. I'm not a D&D-first GM (mostly PF2e/other TTRPGs), so I expected a lot. This was underwhelming, to say the least.

Anne of Windy Poplars (Anne of Green Gables #4) I really enjoyed this installment! The varied characters, Anne's imperfections, and Katherine's touching story stood out. The optimism about changing one's path was lovely, and the new setting was beautifully immersive. ⏳📚💙 #readersky

Great Expectations I enjoyed this classic more than I expected, despite its excessive length and some useless subplots. The ending was cathartic and surprising, and Dickens’ flawed yet likeable characters made the very long audiobook worthwhile. 🖋️📚💙 🎧📚 #readersky

All About Love: New Visions More of an opinionated manifesto than a groundbreaking philosophical essay. Spirituality is omnipresent, and some takes were interesting, but I ultimately didn't get much more from it than I would from a deep discussion with friends. 💡📚💙 #readersky

The Apothecary Diaries #3 #booksky #readersky 🪐📚💙 Finally, a volume I genuinely appreciated! The relationships evolved surprisingly fast, but the plot and mysteries remained frustratingly unresolved. Once again, I struggled with how much interpretation the author leaves to the reader.

Harrow the Ninth (The Locked Tomb #2) #booksky #readersky 🪐📚💙 Another clear banger! The witty style, complex characters, dark yet funny setting, gripping mysteries, and exhilarating discoveries made this just as enjoyable as the previous book. Seriously, why haven't you started this series yet??

#booksky #readersky 🪐📚💙 🎧📚💙 A little less enjoyable than the previous volume, with some clichés that made me sigh. Still, I liked it despite the heist/travel plot. The side characters were interesting, and the worldbuilding and politics developed further, but magic remains notably absent.

#booksky #readersky 🪐📚💙 Similar in some ways to Betty, but more enjoyable despite its traumatizing themes. The horror wasn't nightmare-inducing, but the setting was horrific. Relatable characters, a gripping story, and an author I'm very glad to have discovered.
