![Black and white digital comic featuring characters from Misericorde.
[1]
M: And so the angel cometh from on high, her bare feet gliding on the rainbow's path, and wiped the crystal tears from Dorothy's eye, saying--
[Margaret speaks with closed eyes, her hands clasped in prayer, light emanating from her in waves.]
M: "Be not afraid! The love between two girls always is holy, never once in doubt, no problem in the eyes of our kind lord. Adore away!"
[2]
K: In other words, God says--
M & K: "If you're both women, it doesn't count!"
[Katherine, smiling leans on Margaret's shoulder, while Hedwig, in the foreground, looks concerned.]
H: I have never heard of such a thing...
H, thinking: Such heathens... you are lying with malicious intent, tempting my virtue with your lustful ways-- sin! You think me dumb and gullible enough to fall for
[3]
K: Whaaaaaat?
[Close up on Katherine (frowning, curled lip) and Margaret (frowning, pitying)]
M: Hedwig...
[4]
M: Don't tell me
[Close up: Margaret speaks with sad eyebrows, her eyes closed.]
M: you've never read Ligma?
[5]
H: Lig... ma?
[Hedwig is small and anxious.]
[6]
H, thinking: What manner of text is this? Have I all this time been ignorant to the word of God? How much more has been hidden from me
[Hedwig appears in a fish-eye zoom, her eyes swirling. Crunchy black tones encroach on the text from the bottom of the panel.]
[7]
H: Sister Margaret, Sister Katherine--
[Hedwig bows, eyes shut.]
H: Forgive my ignorance-- it pains me to admit but no I have not yet read the book of Ligma
[Margaret and Katherine grin mischievously at a distance.]
K: Ligma ba [cut off by edge of image]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:q3sk2wopveaxha7vcxtyofxf/bafkreig2ntl3fkydn7ezgymxmkhbd6zphf5h7tvuukpeok6gjmc2hf3yni)
