“Amelia “Amy” Burroughs is a young girl who eats, sleeps, and breathes technology. Think the scatterbrained genius of Doc Brown with the pluck and determination of Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation, mixed together with the raw unfiltered enthusiasm of a young preteen girl. Amy’s aspiring to become a great inventor, just like her dad, Thomas. The only problem is that she isn’t very good. But what she lacks in prowess (and for that matter, common sense), she makes up for with a sheer, unadulterated love of her craft. Even if the odds are stacked against her - and they frequently are - she works as hard as she can to overcome them. Above all else, Amy is a dreamer, and she does what she does because she genuinely wants to use her talents to help make the world a better place for everyone to live in.
