#KOFtober Day 15— Siblings. Ash and Elisabeth. Amazing what some flashbacks can do to add a fair bit of depth. These two are just too adorable in this picture. #KOF #KingofFighters #KOFXV #AshCrimson #ElisabethBlanctorche

#KOFtober Day 14— Friendship. Team Fatal Fury in KOF XI is a low-key underrated composition. Terry and Duck King being paired with a guy like Kim makes for some inherently interesting interactions, fr #KOF #KingofFighters #FatalFury #CotW #CotW_Terry #CotW_DuckKing #CotW_KimKaphwan

#KOFtober Day 13— Characters in Black. Rock, Mature, and Vice. Low-key kinda cheating with this one since Rock and Vice already filled out yesterday's prompt, but whatever. #KOF #KingofFighters #FatalFury #CotW #CotW_Rock #MatureKOF #ViceKOF #MatureandVice

#KOFtober Day 10— Underrated Character. Say it with me now— Moe. Habana. Give the girl some love, SNK. 🫩 #KOF #KingofFighters #MoeHabana #KOFEX

#KOFtober Day 9— KOF character in COTW. Iori. Partly because Freeman is on sabbatical, partly because KOF should return the favor after carrying FF for so long, and partly because he's the obvious choice. #KOF #KingofFighters #CoTW #IoriYagami #COTW_Iori

#KOFtober Day 8— My KOF team (for KOF XV specifically). Ash, Rock, and Shingo. Surreal as hell that these three would all be present in the same KOF, but here we are. #KOF #KingofFighters #CotW #FatalFury #AshCrimson #CotW_Rock #Shingo_Yabuki

What even are these PFPs bruh? 😭

#KOFtober Day 7— Favorite Male Character. Ash and Shingo. One has green flames and intriguing lore, and the other is a lovable goober. I only wish they were older. (Ain't no way Ash is younger than *Yuri*, of all characters, bruh 😭🥀) #KOF #KingofFighters #AshCrimson #ShingoYabuki

#KOFtober Day 6— Favorite Female Character. Vice and Jun. Normally, I'm indifferent towards the buxom beauty standard, but Vice is one of the few exceptions to that rule. Plus, she's a tall tomboy. I love tall tomboys. Simple as that. #KOF #KingofFighters #JunKagami #ViceKOF #KOFEX

#KOFtober Day 5— Character who should be in COTW. Xiangfei. Because if Rick has a shot, why not her too? Also, CotW as of this writing outshines even Tekken as the biggest sausage fest in fighting games, so the more the merrier. #FatalFury #CotW #CotW_Xiangfei #LiXiangfei

#KOFtober Day 4— Character who should be in KOF. Honestly? Anyone originating from the KOF EX games would be my pick, but shout-out to Moe Habana in particular for being a rarity among fighting games: a female Jeet Kune Do practitioner (supposedly). #KOF #KingofFighters #MoeHabana #KOFEX

#KOFtober Day 3— Favorite COTW Newcomer. Is it sad to say that we got more Guests than original characters in this game? Obviously, I'm going with Preecha. Vox is fine from a gameplay standpoint, but damn if he isn't bland. #FatalFury #CotW #CotW_Preecha #CityOfTheWolves

#KOFtober Day 2— Favorite KOF character. Easily Shingo. Ash and Vice come very close, but this little goober is just so goddamn endearing it's hard not to laugh with him. #KOF #KingofFighters #ShingoYabuki

#KOFtober Day 1— Favorite SNK character. Or CharactERS, plural. Narrowing down to just one isn't fair to myself, so here are my top 3 as you can see here. #KOF #KingofFighters #AshCrimson #ShingoYabuki #ViceKOF

It happens. Sometimes it goes from simple little mistakes to *entire paragraphs*. Which reminds me, I should probably get back into it myself.

And last, but certainly not least, the tritagonist of Blue Chip - Shaun Wozniak. Pretty much @caseymongillo.bsky.social with green eyes and shaggy (natural) blonde hair. #OC #originalcharacter #art #digitalart #AlwaysCreditTheArtist

My OC Aurelia (inspired by @thedonutgremlin.bsky.social) next to @orihalchon.bsky.social's OC Yume. Was a fun draw, to say the least #OC #originalcharacter #YumeTsuiseki #AlwaysCreditTheArtist #art #digitalart

Unless they have a general lack of empathy and thus are incapable of EVER learning right from wrong, well, yeah, everyone deserves a second chance. Wherein I feel is the key factor is whether or not that person is serious about learning from their mistakes, or if it's just for clout.

Another OC I've been working on— her name's Hamama Hakim and she's the Deuteragonist of my IP, with Aurelia as the protagonist. Not a lot I can say about her in as little as possible, so in a nutshell— Superman + Static/Miles + Boxing = Hamama. #OriginalCharacter #AlwaysCreditTheArtist

Saw the original image of this (which I’ll put in the comments) and both @/martinag.bsky.social and I agreed that it was giving Vanessa so… #KOF #KingofFighters #Vanessa #AlwaysCreditTheArtist

Vanessa sitting in front of a camera, with a notebook on her lap and gesticulating vaguely, clearly in the middle of speaking. Under her is a black bar with white text that reads “Men that hate bush are ungrateful and deceitful” with a timestamp that reads “13:14” a little ways to the right. Behind Van are a large can of Modelo Especial, Mom’s Swear Jar (full of money), some drawings, an amazing art piece by my homegirl southbaybaby on insta, and clear evidence that she (Van) is being targeted by The Other Mother.

Say hello to a character I've been working on for the better part of three years, Aurelia Amethyst (born Magnolia Maya Matthews). On her best days, she's a walking shitpost. On her worst, well… her face tells you everything you need to know. Inspired by the lovely @thedonutgremlin.bsky.social!

@thedonutgremlin.bsky.social Quick question if you can answer it— Have you ever played the role of the main villain (an unambiguous one, as opposed to an anti-villain or hero antagonist)? And if you haven't, would you want to?

000

Tony Russell @yourboyrussell.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Two whole minutes of crying? Damn. Were you tired by the end of it? That couldn't have been easy to pull off.

110

Tony Russell @yourboyrussell.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Follow-up question: have you ever done a scene in a single take? I remember hearing that Phillip Reich did the "7 Page Muda" scene from Golden Wind in one take from (I think) Bill Butts? Considering how it turned out, "impressive" is underselling it.

110

Tony Russell @yourboyrussell.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Do you ever get to ad-lib or improvise entire scenes, and the directors, writers, etc liked it so much they left it in? I can't help but wonder how different that is in VO compared to live-action performances.

Looked up what endometriosis and adenomyosis were out of curiosity and… yeah, that is rough, to put it mildly. My condolences for having to go through that— here's hoping it all turns out well for you! Also, nice fur baby; can't ever go wrong with some headpats.

It do be like that. One moment you're struggling to even put together AN IDEA of a coherent plot, and then the next it hits you like:

Goddamn, has it been a year already? Time sure flies, don't it? Like grains of sand in an hourglass… ⏳ Anywho, I read the whole thing and ho-lee shit, what a nightmare. Sorry you had to go through all that. And, well, yeah, any interest I had in Genshin and Hoyo I don't anymore, to say the least
