I highly recommend giving this short article a read. By framing fascism as a psychological or cognitive aberration, not only do we uphold neuronormative structures, but we also fail to see how fascism is a response to challenges to ruling class power in a state of crisis and decay.

Nice to see Michael Parenti taking the place of Noam Chomsky for US anti-imperialism 101 stuff. Blackshirts and Reds especially is (sadly) now more relevant than ever. I'd still recommend it to anyone wanting to get a basic understanding of fascism and how it relates to capitalism and imperialism.

I'm an autistic artist with many special interests. I love to read, make art, and listen to music. I'm currently specialized as a My Little Pony fanartist. But I am trying to branch out artistically.

What I appreciate about videos like this one is that they serve as great counters to the pervading capitalist realism that paints the current economic system as the only possible system. A better world is possible for both workers and the planet; don't let the ruling class tell you otherwise.

Just finished reading this book. It is an amazing but brutal dystopian fic that dives into how pleasure and happiness are used as weapons of social control, themes that are still relevant today. It still remains my favorite dystopian novel to this day. #booksky
