So, as much as I loath the sound of my own voice, I've decided to go ahead with this anyway. Starting to stream hobby on Twitch has been so fun and has resulted in my wanting to try different types of creation and sharing stuff #nerdlings #warhammer #youtube #gaming youtu.be/dAK4WwtRFaw

First attempt at a freehand banner for a new #skaven army for #warhammer #theoldworld. It's been a fun process. Love trying new things. #nerdlings #miniaturepainting

At the amazing Rosecon on Saturday, I got very lucky and took first place in the Golden Beard painting competition. Can't believe it. #nerdlings #warhammercommunity #miniaturepainting #warhammer

Bretonnian Knight for my #theoldworld diorama project. I am a little annoyed that GW didn't sculpt in a fuller on the sword, so i tried to paint one in #warhammer #warhammercommunity #miniaturepainting #nerdlings

I painted the hellblasters and the company heroes. So glad they have reached someone who can have fun with them. Thanks for contributing to the cause and supporting efforts to care for those in need.

Hi #Nerdlings! I have the honour and joy of being the winner of @miniapothecaries.bsky.social charity raffle towards CALM! ❤️ What an incredible privilege to own this community hobby project! I hope to do Daggan Zaidu and the community effort justice on the tabletop! Twitch.tv/miniaturesapothecary

My #ageofpainttober #tmanpaintchallenge has arrived! Very interesting limited pallette from Travelling Man with which to paint a #bloodbowl hobgoblin. I'm very excited to get started, though I'm very happy I can at least add my own black and white paints to help out with this.

Got this fun sculpt from @badsquiddogames.bsky.social, and it was such a joy to paint. This happy spooky chap will have to be a unit champion for my #warhammer #oldworld #vampirecounts army that I'm gifting to my inner child. I always wanted a huge Sylvainian army as a kid, time to live the dream

Finished a #Skaven warlock engineer. Absolute joy to paint, as the great ratmen always are. Still taking my first steps into nmm and now a little osl. Enjoying experimenting with new approaches #nerdlings #warhammer #paintingminiatures

Had a lot of fun painting up this lovely old sculpt of Max from Gotrek and Felix. He'll serve well as a wizard for my old world Empire army. #nerdlings #warhammercommunity #oldworld #warhammerfantasy

Thank you. Having something to represent the woe machines and variants of vehicles that are still sufficiently 'counts as' is going to be a challenge, but giving it a go.

Thank you @warlordguymer.bsky.social for helping me to continue the beloved journey of Gotrek. From opening that first copy of Trollslayer, it's been a story close to my heart, and so it continuing even 26 years later is a light in the dark. Thank you so much. #nerdlings #warhammer #whereisfelix

I've been going through an insane time in life at the moment, but for the first time in a while, I've managed to sit down and get some painting done. Have enjoyed painting Grombrindal. Though he does look suspiciously like Snorri Whitebeard. #nerdlings #warhammer #dwarfs #dawi

100%. The great balance of humour, action, and every mounting character drama. They're perfect for it. Feels like it'd be such an easy business case to make.

There is absolutely a market for fantasy adventure, there have been a chain of such shows for years. The target audience would be a venn diagram with their 40k project. The core audience would be drawn in part, alongside a larger segment of the general viewing public. Less meme crowd, more 'normies'

And now my too many years spent working in product management are making me want to write a proposal and justification report and presentation as if I was pitching it to upper management lol. Curse this corporate brain rot.

020 2

The Verminister @youmustbecash.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

I'm probably mad and biased by my own tastes, but goodness knows it seems so obvious, easy, and would be far more accessible to a modern wider audience than anything 40k based would be.

The Verminister @youmustbecash.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

It's sat right there, already written in a form that would suit the model we see of interconnected on going streaming platform series. Each short series subtitled with the book it covers. Almost no work would need to be done to turn them to screenplays, they're already written in a suitable way.

It remains bizarre to me that there's no signs that GW and Amazon are looking at Gotrek and Felix as a series of short serials based on each book. It's just the perfect episodic fantasy adventure with relatable characters, great short and meta plots, and just perfect for adaptation.
