read my #daveandbambi fanfiction Boy archiveofourown.org/works/88891096

a four panel comic of dave and bambi. they are both sitting on a couch. dave is wearing a sweater with stars on it. bambi wears a v-neck shirt with regular pants. throughout all panels, bambi holds a cup of water in his lap.

first panel: dave has a forlorn expression and is staring into nothing. bambi looks mildly upset and is staring into his water cup. dave is thinking, "i really hate being scared of thunderstorms". bambi is thinking, "ugh, i feel like such a chud saying this, but i gotta open up more".

second panel: bambi looks at dave. dave looks back at him. bambi says, "i'm scared of thunderstorms".

third panel: dave is surprised. he says, "dude, me too". bambi is surprised now, too.

fourth panel: dave smiles at bambi, and bambi has a look of wonder on his face. their eyes shine, and sparkles float around them. they are excited that they both share a fear.

A lineup of Dave, Bambi, Tristan, and Playrobot posed in that order against a sky background. Their colors have been remade to be a lot softer with some headcanons applied.

A: I'm perfectly fine with Fanart, just *don't* make any Nasty content (Incest, Underage, NSFW). It's highly uncomfortable. Stuff like Shipping, Fanart, and other random things are allowed. I'll try to reblog as much as I can <3

#DaveAndBambi #DNBLore #DNBUnderside #DNBUnderfell I got so excited about this idea don't even play. Dropped everything to draw it immediately

A drawing depicting Underside "Fell AU" David and Dave.
David is looking at Dave with awe and saying "Oh hi Dave! It's so nice to see you, are you having a good day? My day's been swell! Do you want to come over to my place later and...".
Dave is facing away, looking pissed, and says "I'm so fucking sick of you."

I know this doesn’t really have his iconic hunched back as in previous art pieces. But trust me when I say it’s still there. I haven’t drawn him in a while and I’m hoping to give him more chronic pain/disability rep as a personal design of mine.

Following this release, the style of the AU will change significantly. It's been said before, but it bears repeating - this comic was a labor of love for us all, but also quite taxing to make. Comics in the future will be messier and sketchier with emphasis on just telling the story.

2025 Art summary I feel like this was the year I truly "locked in" lol. It was a very experimental year with ups and downs on art, burnout, and mental health-- but It was a slightly better year than 2024. Thank you for all your continuing support. I hope next year will be great.
