AI isn't inherently evil. The people that develop it are;

The GnuPG project has been facing increasing AI scraper attacks for
more than a year, but now the situation switched to SYN flood attacks.
We are dealing with the situation, but for the moment our development
server with the bugtracker is not available to the public world.

We are working on a solution which keeps the community involved in
contributing to the project, but for the moment inconvenience cannot
be avoided.

We regret to be forced acting this way, but the AI driven attacks don't
leave much of a choice.

Several months ago, I had to cancel my #credit card (I lost it), and get a replacement. All seems to be a waste of time when an organisation tried to use the *old* number (my fault, I should have updated the card on their web site), and the credit card company paid it anyway. 🤬

Nothing's ever easy; Got to fix a pedestal to the ground, and fixings require a 16mm diameter hole. The SDS drill I have came with 10mm, 12mm, 14mm and 20mm bits. So I've had to go and buy the 16mm. Grrrr.... 😡
