Kudos to #ICLR2027 PCs for taking strong actions 👏 I like they keep it open to new people, mitigating a risk of "AI slop" Submission cap should be much lower, say 5 papers per author, unless their contribution is significant and they offer quality review workforce accordingly

Majority of reviews I saw last 1-2 years including those I see as a #NeurIPS2026 E&D AC fall into one of the following patterns with some variations like bulleted instead of numbered Those comments come without any summary/justification for their score Do you see such a trend?

Why did I miss Tanaka Farm during my PhD time at UCI? The experience was so great and educational. Their strawberries were so delicious 🍓 I also got the 1st(?) prize for $1 scratching card, which was a Tanaka Farm's hoodie We are also happy that my kid really enjoyed the tour

I received a PC (reviewer) invitation from #IJCAI2026 (1st pic) As the language is still vague, I checked their website and found this text (2nd pic) at the end of the page It was expected, yet very disappointing😮‍💨 ML venues already have such an incentive for years... (maybe more selective though)

Here is the part of the policy I'm talking about I guess the choice for the submission will be used to overwrite reviewers' choices. Otherwise, it sounds very difficult to have this dynamics converge For this matter, I'm on team "Conservative" though I am an AC and will not have any other option 😂

From OpenReview This may be the most serious issue I have ever seen in the peer-review systems However, as pointed out here, we should immediately report the bug to the team, instead of sharing in public or keeping silent Very disappointing that some people actively exploited the vulnerability

Sorry, but to me, injecting hidden prompts into a paper to ask for a positive review looks like an excessive self-defense as the authors take advantage of bad actors for their own gains As it's tough to prove a review was written by some LM, I'd want a solution like this 1/3
