If I have learned anything from watching Nintendo Directs it’s to lower my expectations. If I get at least one game I can get excited for then the whole direct is a success. And take any “leaks” with a grain of salt. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet.

OoT remake looking great! I don’t plan on playing it when it first comes out because I haven’t actually beaten the N64 game…and I don’t have as much of an interest in it as I do with the Wind Waker series. Listen, Pokémon took over my life in 1998, okay? lol

Oh no Dragon Quest Builders 2 is almost as addicting as Pokopia is. Looks like another game I’m going to sink countless hours into I guess that’s good considering I’ve almost finished recruiting everyone in Pokopia, base game and current DLC

I've been seeing a LOT of people fall for discord tricks these past couple months, so I felt the need to make this to help get people caught up on internet safety 101. Please repost/share this around, you could help save someone's account!

I ordered Dragon Quest Builders 2 for the Switch. Yes it’s used, yes I’ll get any upgrade pack for Switch 2 but at least it’s a physical copy. I had been planning to buy it when it went on sale on PS5 BEFORE they announced a digital only future. But now Nintendo gets my business.

With the PS blackout coming toward an end (for me) I’ll probably stuck with playing DK Bananza for a while. Unless I log into Fortnite. That’s the only exception. Gotta play Festival and get back to my rhythm games lol

YoshiGamerGirl (Christi) @yoshigamergirl.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I’ve been doing exactly what I planned on doing this week: -Finishing Yoshi & the Mysterious Book -picking Donkey Kong Bananza back where I left off -Finishing the Pokopia DLC and recruiting everyone Sometimes going back to Nintendo games is nice :3

I talked to my parents this weekend and it was the first time I talked to them about politics. They were so surprised I actually did my research. Also my mom said I said it surprised her that I called everyone in early 20’s “young people” Maybe I shouldn’t do that, I sound old lol

My parents are just now hearing that certain Pokémon cards are expensive and I had to tell them I had to purge a bunch of the expensive ones before my divorce, and another time to pay for my rent…they were proud but also felt sorry for me. They told me to hold on to any remaining ones.

Two games on the NSO I vow to beat now: Donkey Kong 64 and Wario Land (GB) Both games I was stuck on the final boss for the longest time but never beat them. That will change at some point. Also DK64 I got very close to beating on the WiiU but I no longer have that file or console
