It was great to be back modelling on Zoom. It was a regular event back during lockdown and we formed lots of great friendships. So it was lovely to see so many old friends and some new ones on Saturday afternoon and suck amazing artwork produced Definitely need to be holding these more regularly

I got asked by a local life drawing group if I could stand in for a model who unfortunately had to go to hospital on the day they were booked in to model. I always enjoy this venue and group and did eight poses between 5 and 20 minutes.

I made my debut at a Wakefield based group. It was a welcoming atmosphere in such a creative environment. Lots of wonderful artwork produced on the evening. I only managed to get a few photos as I spent too much time chatting! Shorter poses in the first half and a standing 45m pose.

It was a fantastic, exhilarating morning at Druridge Bay as I took part together with 1,400+ other people in the NESD (North East Skinny Dip) raising funds for MIND The waves were high but it just added to the fun although a few mistimed jumps had me drinking more sea water than I’d wanted 😂🌊

The theme was summer special Always an enjoyable session, incorporating the themed props into the poses. The theme was Summer but I was aided by Stanley who once again joined me on stage. As always fabulous playlist. The playlist is used to time the poses… from 1 song to 5 songs.

I was a last minute stand in model for the sculpting class. The sculptor had to ‘transition’ me as the previous model was female so after a few adjustments was able to utilise what she had done the previous week

My ‘body positivity therapy’ I had to address the issue of being seen erect as years of bullying had left me with zero confidence and hating my body. So working with a work colleague who helped my confidence, we liked the voyeuristic approach of this pose… the juxtapositional of it.

A wonderfully creative evening at a busy evening modelling for Leeds University art society. 60+ students upstairs of a pub for this weekly session. It’s always an enjoyable venue with poses from 1 minute up to 20 minutes.

I get asked is what I think about when modelling. The thing I love about modelling is how good it is for my ADHD brain as it helps restrict the number of things I think about as I maintain pose. However at times I do allow myself to consider how I’d tackle the pose from various angles as the artist.
