Let’s give a big thank you to my friend @hurlespoir-amelie.bsky.social for dragging me down this rabbit hole that is Warhammer 40k !!! (Hygie_7 is her OC 💜 ) So here’s my #Necron – she’s capable but she’s a bit of a lazybones #warhammerfanart #fanart #OC

- Having lived for centuries in this cycle of endless war, Yore had had enough. She just wanted to “take a break” and perfect the art of extreme laziness

That mean: If there is nothing to catch her attention and/or that interests her, she will do nothing and simply laze about

Seeking fun rather than battle, and perhaps with a stupidity beyond words

- She regards Trazyn as her “uncle” (which amuses him, as he finds it rather funny)

- Under an agreement whose terms are unknown, she remained in Solemnace Galleries for two centuries

All this to discover human pastimes, mainly anything to do with cinema and video games (fun fact: Trazyn would sometimes play a few games with her and often wins because he uses cheat codes)

- While exploring (or scouting) a supposedly deserted planet, she stumbles upon a group of Tech-Priests
At first, they were fighting her (let’s not forget that Xeno are vermin in their eyes), then a Genestealer appears

A common understanding was reached in the face of this common enemy (and in the knowledge that he had to be eliminated quickly to prevent his followers from joining him)

The battle was fierce, and they defeated him
However, Yore was the sole survivor of the massacre

And to make matters worse, she was quite seriously injured. You might ask, “But what about her protocol? Doesn’t she get teleported away to be repaired?” For some unknown reason (even to her), her protocol crashed

Apart from waiting, there wasn't much she could do

Fortunately, the disappearance of a few Tech Priests caught the attention of the Mechanicus, who sent Tech Adepts to retrieve the missing priests’ implants

Among them was Hygie_7, a "young" (60) adept, who eventually found the site of the carnage and was surprised to see that a Necron was still there, broken, amongst the corpses

An opportunity for the young adept to study a relatively cooperative Xeno (given the situation, there’s no other option)

To this day, a friendship has developed between the two

It took me longer than I expected, but it was fun.

Unlike the episode that finished me off (and I reckon the last one will really wear me out, even though I think I’ve got a bit of an idea of how it’s all going to end)

His dark appearance is due to Aline's progressive madness. As the years go by, her old creations suffer from chromatic “defects.”

Verso lost his colors (at first, he turned gray, like Alicia and Clea). Gradually, dark spots appeared on his body, covering it completely

He is happy to look this way because he no longer resembles O!Verso
Even though he still has “memories” of the latter, he can be a little more himself

The other members of the Dessendre family also suffer physical “damage”

Renoir's limbs gradually disappear: they become invisible but still tangible (His right leg and left arm)

Alicia has cracks and parts of her body that are falling apart (the right side of her face and her right shoulder)

Clea is the only one who doesn't undergo physical changes bc… If you've played the game, you know (Strangely, that's what saved her)
