All this to comment that it's very funny the Jeanne and Jalter banners are doubled right now with the new Samurai Remnant rerun banners lmao.

Anyway I mention this because most of my friends know I quit FGO after that debacle with my account getting reset to tutorial after whaling on Merlin and customer service being Completely Useless but yeah I redownloaded it! New account!

100

I gave up on the story back when I was still playing on my old account because the early chapters bored me out of my mind and my Japanese sucked (more) back then so spending that much effort on a poorly written story was Too Much Effort so I am reading Camelot for the first time and it's! Better!

Turning 2026 AnniZine - ✨Previews Reveal!✨ @turningfanzine.bsky.social · 19h

I redownloaded that frankly garbage game FGO again earlier this summer cause Cheese wanted to play it and I have been diligently reading the supposedly good story a little bit every day and it has been About As Garbage As I Remember up until now but!! I am happy to report I have Made It To Camelot.

I... love my sticker printer... The clock app advertisements weren't lying it's actually phenomenal.

I need to track down all the official art for 2ML on Strike and also read the cancelled manhwa so I can build up a reference library.

I actually kind of feel like drawing?! What! Slightly. Just barely. A teeny bit. I wanna draw Yeseo and his knights... and also Yeseo with his prince... 🥹

Also every single Sorim novel I've read so far has been good. Even my complaints about an item from Northern Grand Duke making its way over to mess with the manhwa adaptation of Delayed My Death is more a gripe re:the Mission: Save the Hunter manhwa and not a criticism of Northern Grand Duke.

Also some of these gamer BLs are better than others but I haven't read a single one I haven't enjoyed yet! All of them are worth checking out!

I need to reread He Is That Guy tho it's been a while so my memory of it is a bit fuzzy. Might adjust the ranking after I do.

100

If I had to rank the gamer BL K-novels I've read so far it's probably: 1. Grapes are Wronged 2. Healer Who Picked Up a Damage Dealer 3. Good Life Rankers 4. Netkama Punch!! 5. Guild Member Next Door =. Named Wants to be Forgotten 6. He is That Guy

110

Also just in case people outside my usual crowd stumble on this account: I pay for all the K-novels I read legally. I buy chapters directly from Ridi or Munpia and MTL them...

I think it's the first idol novel I've read that I have genuinely felt was good. I usually read this genre as a brain-off time killer but I will follow Moai to the end after Cloudless Sky.

000

ALSO!! But separately! Moai's "The Sunbae Who Paves A Flower Path" finished serializing yesterday and oh man I loved it so much. It's the first novel whose serialization I followed from beginning to end so seeing it complete is honestly so emotional... It was honestly a super super fun idol novel!

110

I still have another... 6 Sorim novels I haven't read yet? I'm just going down the list at this point! I think I'll read one of her older novels next...

100

Y @yooone.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Honestly a big fan of Sorim and if I had to rank the novels I've read from her so far it would be: 1. Delayed My Death 2. Grapes are Wronged =. Weasel is a Detective [serializing] 3. Worst Hunter in History 4. Soft and Fluffy Grand Duke

110

Sorim's The Grapes Are Wronged is legendary easily the best gamer BL I've read so far. It's... so much fun and Sorim's characteristic touch of making you realize there is still good in a world that often seems rotten still moves me to tears... This novel is so good it's so good.

Y @yooone.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

RIGHT? HAHA man... I wanted to make a clean break but I still quietly added my old username to the profile of my new one because this isn't a headache I want to deal with even on an off-chance.

000

Y @yooone.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Yeah!! I love when I encounter a novel and think "wow I loved this aspect and wish there were other novels that also included this aspect" and then I find another one!! It's such a pleasant surprise.

Y @yooone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Found out there's this new thing where if you don't have an art history from before 2021 you get accused of Al usage lmao... I haven't personally had this issue but eurgh.
