I'm looking for visual novel players. Anyone interested to play Hellhound on itchio? We released the prologue for now, and will be observing your reactions closely 👀 The plotline is a labyrinth. But it is a blend of Power Rangers and Devil May Cry. yoon-wolfie.itch.io/hellhound

What. Is. Up, People?! I feel like I disappeared for the mid half of the game, only to reappear and kick ass in the finale 😂

I haven't been here in a while. So, here's an update: 1. I'm currently 20% into chapter 11 of Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat. 2. I paused "An Elmwood Trail". Will play it when the story is completed. 3. I am waiting for my semester break to continue working on my video game.

You know what I like about Bluesky so far? It remembers exactly when I joined through the little sun emoji below my username. It tells me I joined four days ago when I already feel like it has been a century. Has time slowed down?

Ikr? Crazy to see people following out of nowhere. Then again, people just might really want to see your art, and so they follow you.

Who's excited for Devil May Cry season 2? Honestly? After feeling like I went through a whole new stage of trauma after watching season 1, I wonder if I should put myself through that again for season 2.

Noted. I wasn't intending to post about either of those topics here, anyway.

Gregor Samsa, the man you were. Even as an insect, you held onto your humanity for as long as you could.

who didn't allow themselves to slip for even a second, who cared deeply about their family, and who ended up alone in the end because people never check on the person who is there for everyone.

This story was nothing but a metaphor for those who strived hard for everyone else, who played the role of the perfect son/daughter,

He stayed at a job he despised only so his father's debt could be paid off. He wanted to send his sister to a conservatory so she could pursue her music.

What's deeply saddening is that he was a man described as calm and sensible by the chief clerk. His family was happy with him as well. Most likely because of what he could provide and not for who he was.

Pt 3 of the Metamorphosis Review: Even weeks, if I remember correctly. But it was long enough for him to eventually take his final breath. He died in a room that felt no longer his own. He died in a room that was dark. And he died alone.

What was worse was his father attacking him. apples that stuck on his back, causing him prolonged pain. Over time, the gradual neglect from his family caused him pain and anger, and he stopped eating for days.

It was difficult for me to read through the final phase of the book. Not only because the family had reached their limits and were now set to throw the insect, Gregor Samsa, out, but also because Gregor had fallen into a depressive phase himself.

But that only scared the tenants away, and this caused Grete to break down in tears and finally say the words I had not expected her to say---

Pt2 of The Metamorphosis Review The breaking point came when Gregor watched his sister, Grete, go unappreciated for her beautiful violin skills, and he couldn't help but come out of his room and tell her, in his own way, that she could play in his room if she'd like.

Eventually, his family got tired of him. Not because he is harming them in any way, but because he was the only breadwinner, and now the father, mother, and sister have to go out in the world and work. Between work and handling household chores, taking care of Gregor became a burden.

Yes, his family do try their best in helping him and looking after him to the best of their abilities, but there is always this gap between what he needs and what the family can provide for him.

Even though he tries to be considerate to his family, ensures that he hides himself whenever his mother or sister enters his room so as to not distress them, and barely leaves the room, he is not treated with the same kindness.

Pt:1 Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka is a tragedy. Let me get this out of the way first. On the surface, it tells us about a man, Gregor Samsa, who transforms into a hideous insect overnight, and the story only goes downhill from there.

I hope so too. Bluesky feels very much like how social media used to be in the early 2000s. And that's one of the reasons I am appreciating this app so much already. It's such a stark contrast to Instagram.

So, we all collectively agree this is for dumping whatever comes to our minds. Understood. It feels relieving in a way because social media these days has become all about being perfect and showing off. I like the messy side of the internet, I guess.

I'm on Goodreads. I've recently joined after taking a hiatus from writing on Wattpad to return to reading, and the first book I dove into was The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. I also reviewed it on Goodreads, and so I'll share it here in segments, so make sure you follow so you don't miss out.

Actually, yeah. Think I'm going to go with both, actually. Or just use this to dump whatever I am doing at the moment (reading, writing, gaming, game dev). Whatever. Takes out the pressure of perfectionism.

I installed Bluesky on a whim. Now I sit and wonder what to post on this app. Do I use it as a devlog? Or review stories I have read or currently reading? Or maybe talk about the game I'm currently into? Think I'll just post spontaneously.
