another one for lesbian visibility week <3

a black and white typography edit that reads "dykes make the day brighter" in all caps. to the right of the text are two interlocked carabiners. on the carabiners are a heart-shaped lock and two leather charms. one leather charm has two intersecting venus symbols. the other charm has the transgender symbol. the entire image is textured to look photocopied.

I finally finished producing my 14 page Sumo Stories zine! I wrote it over a few months, after I went to Japan to watch live professional sumo wrestling. It's a little bit about history, it's a little bit about my feelings about traveling to Japan for the first time, but it's mostly about sumo!

working on some memo pads recently! riso printed on cream paper + cut and glued by hand. inspired by medieval tile designs in particular as the amount of tudor monastery farm and secrets of the castle i've been watching has been seeping into my brain irreversibly

Three risograph printed memo pads on a green leafy background. One has a bunny wizard holding a clover staff, and the other two are medieval tile inspired designs in green and blue and yellow and blue.

I've been working on a sumo zine since December. Finally at the point where I am editing the text and mocking up some layouts. This is a chart I made of the divisions within sumo. Anyone else hyped for the next honbasho??

IKEA alert: cardboard magazine holders. Great for zine organization. Each cardboard sheet costs a dollar, and each sheet yields 2 magazine holders. White is an easy color to decorate!

Bad picture of beautiful things. Last night was the coronation of @junauda.bsky.social as Minneapolis's Poet Laureate and I had goosebumps the entire time. I am so proud to know this person, and I hope they realize how dangerous she is. Rolled up into her love and lusciousness are sharp truths.

Call for collage art, spread the word. Here's the deal. I want the walls of this exhibition FILLED with color. I want people to straight up gasp when they walk through the door. Now, more than ever, let's show out with the multitudes we all contain. Cut shit up and make some art.
