Cut my trade short way too soon and then chickened out on getting back in once I saw we were breaking through resistance. Something to work on… 010

YOLO nada @yolonada.bsky.social · 17/01/2025And generally I am in a trade as long as it takes to get to a 1R or 2R target. Sometimes that is 15-20 minutes, sometimes 3 hours. As long as there isn’t a clear counter-trade move of significance, I stay in the trade. 000
YOLO nada @yolonada.bsky.social · 17/01/2025On that trade, I got long above 55, moved my stop to BE because I didn’t like those wicks leading into the EMA, got stopped out by 59, re-entered above it. Took profits at the 2R target but left one contract running in case we went to HoD, it got stopped out below 69. Got a bit chopped up earlier🥴. 000

So I take swing trades, which is any trade that reaches two times my initial risk. I don’t hold overnight. The ranges on /ES and /MES have been so big and I am trying to grab a chunk of the moves up and down. 110

YOLO nada @yolonada.bsky.social · 15/01/2025For swings, I like the grind because traders keep chasing the market. It is wild how much the 1R/2R targets work if you can learn to spot them. Even if you enter late you can manage your trade accordingly based off of them. 100
