A Fun experiment with the Sailor Manyo Nekoyanagi ink. I wanted to see if I could demo the shading properties on this cheap watercolor paper. The initial wash didn't turn out great, I overestimated the ink flow from my brush. But moving more slowly with detailing resulted in a fun and satisfying showcase of the ink properties. All the color and shade come from the same ink. Isn't that cool? I think so. Yokura

I bought some cheap water color paper (tiny) and a sketchbook (also tiny) and I have been enjoying sketching in this pocket size immensely I hope daiso still carries them by the time I go through all of them or I'll get some other b6 size notebook. Do you think midori paper is good for drawing...
