I have an easy question and a more difficult one: easy one is about 2/3d is that The more difficult one is about how you worked with texturing environment so it does not lose “hand drawish” style when it moves One of my games supposed to look like that but it is hard not to break magic

So I added yellow ships which collect resources from orange ships and then deliver them in bulk to the main base. Yeah, without animation it's hard to guess but orange ships are collecting resources to deliver them to the main base #gamedev #indiedev

Spent WHOLE day rewriting heavy part of my #playdate gameplay code to get high FPS. After doing 70% of work was able to speed up game from 20-23 FPS to stable 50 (maximum). The biggest struggle was to rewrite JSON level loading Left: how it was Right: half of how it's now #gamedev #indiedev
