למעשה רוב הלווינים במסלול סביב כדוה"א חוצים את המסלולים של לווינים אחרים כל הקפה כך שהם בסיכון יותר גבוה.

יש מעקב אחרי מסלולי כל הלווינים וניתן לחשב מסלול שאינו פוגש אף אחד מהם. עם זאת, זה אכן נעשה קשה יותר עם כמות הלווינים ופסולת החלל, ובנוסף עם לווינים שכל הזמן מתמרנים מאותה הסיבה. אין הבדל מהותי בין לווינים במסלול סביב כדוה"א וגשושות/חלליות שטסות לירח או ליעדים אחרים, מבחינת חישובי מסלול.

כמעט. לא חושבים שזה יכול להגן, אבל בגלל שלא מובנים המנגנונים שמאפשרים ליצורים מסויימים לשגשג בתנאי קרינה שמזיקים ואף קטלניים ליצורים אחרים (כמונו), אז רוצים לחקור את התופעה הזאת. התקווה היא שהתובנות יביאו לפתרונות ישימים לבעיית הקרינה בשהות ממושכת של בני אדם בחלל.

אין לי שום דבר רע לומר על חוקרי טרדיגרדות, זה נושא מגניב ביותר. אבל בין זה לבין פרטי המקרה ההוא אין קשר ישיר, וזה לא מעיד על הידע המקצועי שבו הוא מומחה. אלא אם הוא גם עו"ד לדיני חלל או למשפט בינלאומי.

I want to say more about this. What artists do is so central to the human experience that we will always do it, no matter what. We have always done it. Not all of us, but some of us, consistently engage in music, dance, visual arts, ornamentation, storytelling. **It is a trait of our species.**

#Aurora in #Glasgow! It was my first aurora sighting, with my S24 phone camera using night mode. Also, it became much fainter in about 15 minutes. I didn't expect it to change so rapidly. I wonder if this is common.
