Mega Man 7 is great, but I feel like it would have been PERFECT for the Mega Drive. A major complaint I see is that the game has light screen crunch due to the larger graphics. With the Mega Drive's 320px width, it'd be less of a problem. Take a mockup. More info in ALT.

This is a mockup answering the question "What if Mega Man 7 had a Mega Drive port?"

I found a map of Junk Man's stage online, and placed the life bar and Mega Man into it manually. Then I cropped the image to 320 x 224, the Mega Drive's main resolution, and then I used DaniSC23's Retro Color Picker tool for Aesprite, alongside a custom Genesis palette with values more accurate than the tool's built-in palettes, to swap out the colors for Genesis ones. The color count went from about 70 to a little over 50, which is console-accurate. How the colors are distributed, though, aren't. A real port would likely look different than this mockup, but this is an okay starting point.

This is a different kinda sprite than I'm used to making, but I played the GBC port of Street Fighter Alpha, and Adon's portrait is just... not him. Too cool looking. He needs to look more deranged. So I tried my best.

The right sprite is my attempt at an Adon portrait, using the colors from his GBC portrait (except an additional yellow color to add his mongkhon), but more directly resembling the original portrait from the arcade version of Street Fighter Alpha.
