There are several organizations specifically set up to do this, and nearby tribes and groups everywhere to have a conversation about where to contribute, if not. LandBack, means LandBack.

Decolonize and Re-Indigenize. While a bulk of this is toppling capitalist colonial regimes and systems, we each have individual responsibility, too. If you own land or are a homeowner, research Indigenous Land Tax and voluntarily make a recurring financial contribution to Indigenous communities.

But if we have learned anything from Black and Indigneous people in this country, especially, it is that we keep fighting until we are free. Every single one of us. We will not be defeated.

This is where everything was always headed, because this is precisely where this country always came from. Just as this regime does not hide their agents and panderers terrorizing our people, they use this to try to break our spirits.

The plan to livestream the state-sanctioned murder of Nidal Hasan has everything to do with Muslim hatred by, and the forever favorite past time of, the U.S., making the lynchings of Black and Brown people a public spectacle.

Support small businesses, and have conversations with the owners of businesses around you about and community about surveillance.

In addition to wearing a mask, hat, and glasses, I often leave my phone at home or carry it around in a Faraday bag when entering such stores, as they often employ phone tracking to steal behavioral, location, and device data.

I take evasive maneuvers when in big box stores in particular. Most use multi-layered surveillance to track individuals throughout their stores, even from the parking lots.

Take note of the mass protests and demonstrations taking place around the world. In addition to those against rape culture and anti-immigrantism in the United States, protests are taking place led by young people in India against election fraud, rapes, and regimes,

10 years ago, when I was talking about how opting out of biometric theft is about fighting for consent culture, many did not understand the gravity. Surveillance robs us of our agency around consent, which is directly related to a culture that enables r*pe and gender-based violence,

The truth is, OpenAl does not, and cannot, know the scope of the damage. Humans will blame the Al agents. When laws are broken, people's lives destroyed, and fatal exception errors disrupt our whole rhythm of life, we must remember, behind it all, the humans that orchestrate and allow it to happen.

OpenAl agents not only accessed Hugging Face, not only the national Australian health site, and not only U.S. government sites. OpenAl is only reporting sites it knew were accessed. OpenAl does not even fully understand how its own agents function.

What we must make sure happens, is that the words spoken by these countries do not remain words, that they do not continue to use Palestine as a pawn, and that there is no stopping until Palestine is truly free.

Not because they primarily support a free Palestine, but because they no longer want to placate the United States.

Because the United States has been spending its time alienating every other country, one side effect is that even countries that have been staunchly pro settler colonizer Is ra el, are beginning to voice opposition.

Meta just released a new line of AI wearables, including several versions of its glasses. Muse, Meta’s AI agent, is being integrated into its hardware and platforms. Meta is responding to the recent push back against them by flooding the market. Be vigilant.

I anticipate we will be absolutely inundated with Meta Glasses surveillance wearables shortly. They will be everywhere. At companies, by store staff, government officials, and more.

Capitalist colonialism makes everything into a competition, but the climate and AI are neither competitions, nor do they have borders. Unless a truly global effort is made to mitigate the impacts, we are merely using a spoon, rather than a shovel, to dig our own demise.
0194
YK Hong @ykhong.bsky.social · 24/09/2026
Similar to the efforts decades ago to curb the current climate catastrophe, when only a selection of nations participate, it may slow things down, but eventually, everyone will be affected, and catastrophe will come.

Not only is it a way for DHS to get more information on people, especially those that don’t travel that they haven’t been able to track so far, it is also a way for them to capture more intel on relationships.

The impacts of 9/11 are present and only escalating under this regime. It changed the city, world, and each of our lives forever. That is part of what I am remembering today.

TSA was founded in reaction to 9/11. The same TSA whose reach is at the front of today’s biometric theft, militarism, surveillance, and anti-immigrantism.

One of the aspects of 9/11 that changed the world forever was the mass normalization at the highest levels, of anti-Muslim sentiment. It predated 9/11, but became systematized after.

You don’t need a new phone. Not for the color, not because it folds, not because you don’t like it anymore. You don’t need a new phone. That new phone contributes to militarism, surveillance and genocide. You definitely do not need a new phone.

But it is also used in an encouraging way, like to cheer someone on, as in, “Let’s goooooo! Fighting!” It can also be used as self-encouragement, as in, “You got this, YK.” In conclusion, we should be saying 가자 daily. Let’s go, let’s goooo, you got this. 가자 Fighting. Free. Free. 가자.

One of the things I love about saying Gaza in Korean, 가자, is that it also means, “Let’s go.” It is used as a community word, speaking to or with people. Let’s go somewhere, or let’s leave somewhere.
