George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Here’s a little montage of my current project. Its scope is yet to be decided. 001
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 28/02/2025A very scenic alleyway where I live. I stood there for a while, imagining those trash cans were ancient stone ruins. 010
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 28/02/2025That said, I’m at a point where I’m often breaking rules in my compositions to make it more “real” as opposed to everything being perfectly spaced out all the time. Lots of little adjacencies. 000
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 28/02/2025I specifically remember this coming up in a critique like 15 years ago, because something in someone’s painting looked off and they insisted that that’s how it just looked in real life. We all decided that they should just change it anyways. 100
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 26/02/2025It’s like the right stick controls the swivel of your head while the gyro controls where your eyes are looking, if that makes sense. The Switch Zelda games use this setup, too, when firing an arrow. 000
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 26/02/2025Videogame take: I wish every game that could would enable gyro controlled camera along with the right stick—including third person games. Currently playing Metroid Prime remastered with this setup and being able to glance around by tilting the controller adds to the immersion so well. 100
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 26/02/2025So, to answer your question, it’s good enough to play once or twice, but it’s not essential and can’t substitute what human Oath has to offer. 010
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 26/02/2025… the bot’s brutal. Whenever I got ahead, the bot’s immediate move was to go scorched Earth in whatever way it could, be it amassing a huge amount of resources to recover the winning banner, or campaign against all my sites and wipe me off the map. 100
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 26/02/2025… advisors). Or, in that flowchart, there are instances where the bot travels to the site that it would benefit most from trading, and it’s up to a human player to do the math and decide what’s most optimal, and sometimes that has you thinking like three turns ahead for the bot’s sake. And again… 100
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 26/02/2025… normal game rules are, the bot rules are sometimes vague and require your discretion. For instance, there’s no text on what exactly to do with an advisor-only card during the bot’s draw; whether to ignore it completely or treat it as a card that can’t be played to sites (the bot can’t have… 110
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 26/02/2025Oh yeah, I backed the new expansion coming out; looks like it’s going to streamline some confusing aspects while adding some more complicated stuff on top haha. But I’m excited. As far as the bot goes, it’s surprisingly intuitive until it isn’t. For as detail and contingency-laden as the… 110
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 26/02/2025Everybody likes this one, so thought I’d share: in my head they’re called Creeps, but they’re actually pretty friendly 🤓 Those teeth were tough, I ended up making a 3D paper model for reference to figure out the lighting. 011
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 25/02/2025Played Oath solo twice in two nights recently. One of my favorite boardgames. The first game was fun—good to be in the world of Oath again, even if by myself. The second was kind of a drag. The AI is extremely mean and vicious and sprinted ahead of my every move. 150
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 25/02/2025WIP of something I’ve been working on since forever. That big eyes been driving me crazy. 011

George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 31/01/2025Not sure if you’re a heavy metal guy, but Mastodon’s Leviathan would be a great album to listen to during this literary venture… even if you are taking a break. 010
George Alexis @yioryosjg.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Ah, yes another social media app. I’m honestly looking for a place to follow bands, artists, etc. that *I* choose to follow, not some algorithm. Insta has become literally almost nothing but ads, and so I’m here. Let’s hope it’s better. Anyways here’s the best drawing I’ve ever made: 020
