yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I married an amazing woman this weekend! 000
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Very interested! These are awesome! 111
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Thanks for the answer! These are super clean! I was curious if they were printed haha 100
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 18/09/2026How would one go about making these types of cutouts? 100
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Sold! This looks like a ton of fun, and a great option for one shot nights! 020
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 18/09/2026It’s a one-page rpg by Grant Howitt in which the GM portrays a bumbling St. Martin in AD371, who has no interest in being ordained. The players all play angels in the bodies of geese who have to shepherd Martin through his various miracles, despite his unwillingness to do so. It’s nuts. 110
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Last four rulesets played: -Daggerheart -DnD 5e -Fabula Ultima -There but for the Geese of God 131
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 18/09/2026I still feel that way with Daggerheart sometimes, but instead of “I hope I don’t forget anything”, it’s more “I hope this is alive long enough for me to do all its cool stuff at least once”. 140
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I’ve been doing 2 hour sessions weekly for over a year now. I still feel like 3-4 hours would be my preferred length, but that’s likely because I’ve got 5 players and sometimes it’s difficult for everyone to have a spotlight. I ran Fabula for 3 players with a similar timeframe and it felt way better 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Genuinely stoked to watch this and see the fruits of your hard work on the big screen! 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 10/09/2026This was a fun interview! This is the frame I was most excited for, so it’s dope to get a little more behind the scenes info around its conception! 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 10/09/2026This was me earlier this week! I hadn’t checked on it in a while and got to dive into all the updates! 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Incredible game! Also check out Quantum Kickflip for an incredible Actual Play podcast of this game! They’ve made several seasons and they’re a great way to learn the system! 043
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I love this game. It’s such a fun read. Every time I’ve ran it, it’s kind of just been off though. I tried asking the discord several times for advice, but they gave me pretty obvious things I had already tried and ultimately weren’t working. I really want to give it another go one of these days 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Dope! I love a good spreadsheet! 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 28/08/2026It’s for sure worth the price! The adversaries are great, the frames feel like they learned and improved from the first book, and there’s tooooooooooons of equipment to add to the game! 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Yeah, it doesn’t work for my current homebrewed monstrosity of a campaign, but it seemed simple enough and pretty enough for my players if we ever end up doing oneshots or something. I might dig deeper into Heart of Daggers, they’re doing great all around! 000
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 27/08/2026I currently use my Google Sheets campaign tracker and Owlbear Rodeo, but I just caved and got the books on Demiplane and have been trying to learn how to homebrew there within the available options. It kind of feels like Heart of Daggers may be the best overall tool right now though. 100
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 21/08/2026My favorite sessions involve improv and following up the shenanigans of the players with consequences. Knowing everything by heart matters a lot less than having fun and getting lost in the moment with your friends. 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Your account is filled with gold haha! The people into your amazing work on the film just need to also get into TTRPGs! 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 16/08/2026I’ve drifted a bit from the start. I was immediately drawn to Beast Feast, but I think I’ve settled on Colossus of the Drylands as my favorite from the core book. It has such a clear gameplay loop and campaign end state with plenty of room to have unique stories with the colossi. 120
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 16/08/2026Fabula Ultima is awesome, and it’s such an easy read! The rulebooks are styled like old Brady guidebooks! 000
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 16/08/2026I’ve seen a couple posts on the subreddit about people running a KH inspired game and it working really well. Some people had recommended using the Ikonis as a foundation to create keyblades 120
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 14/08/2026You got me, do people really not think the tracking of those resources doesn’t count as tracking resources? 000
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 13/08/2026I enjoy it the way Fabula Ultima handles it, in that there is a core gameplay expectation of using weaknesses and resistances. If that isn’t a main aspect of gameplay, fun whimsical stuff is way better. I like an ice mage, I like a mage who can actually do stuff with ice more if ya catch my drift. 230
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Everyone in here is amazing!! Check out their work! 041
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 10/08/2026I’ve had a lot of success with a pizza steel for my home oven. Under $100 and they work great! 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 10/08/2026I got some bright orange ones I covered in paper and turned into some rolling boxes several years back. I think I made 2 and had like 5 extras sitting around just in case I needed something thematic for a new campaign! 000
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 07/08/2026Slugblaster is amazing! It has an incredible gameplay loop that helps you get those classic angsty teenage character arcs! 110
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Their stuff reignited a passion for creating physical props and playing in person for me! I got their Adventures with Friends book for Christmas! It’s amazing, check it out! 031

yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 30/07/2026Exciting times for Daggerheart! I’m hoping to see more 3rd party support coming out for the campaign frames now! Also stoked for the book of one shots! 170
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 29/07/2026Like, it feels like they tackled everything you would need to recreate Baldurs Gate 3, but in DH. Which is neat, since there are no current campaign modules for people who don’t want to homebrew or flesh out the frames. Not groundbreaking, but helpful. 110
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 29/07/2026I think they’re trying to capture D&D players and make it easier to tell the stories they were already telling, but in a different system. It’s not the most interesting thing they could have done, but they’re still pretty easy to reflavor or use as inspirations when making your own adversaries. 220
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 28/07/2026It’s posturing towards a time that barely even existed, if at all. I’m sure there’s a market out there for it, hell a huge kickstarter proves it. It just feels like these creators are just being edgy trying to show off how cool and manly their version of pretend is-cuz it’s got chainmail bikinis. 000
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 28/07/2026There’s nothing wrong with liking those games. These new settings/kickstarters saying “Remember when the game had balls?”, just feels so… stupid? It feels like grasping at the nostalgia of poorly socialized teenage boys playing DnD for the first time and having their characters die. 110
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 28/07/2026I think that’s my main problem. If you’re looking for old school, classic gameplay updated with new sensibilities, there are tons of OSR systems out there that do it. If you’re looking for a system that oozes the vibes these settings are just attempting to emulate, there’s Mork Borg. 120
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 27/07/2026I think that’s just Final Fantasy X-2 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 27/07/2026Idk what’s going on with people and needing to make edgy edgelord products promising a return to the past. We’re playing pretend, you can just call the town Pissville, have your buddies touch a stone with a 10 foot pole, and die to an overly lethal trap with no counterplay 140
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 27/07/2026Same boat! The only thing I wish it had was granting extra domain cards by taking extracurricular courses or something, but that’s easy enough to homebrew in! 110
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 24/07/2026After reading through them all, I think I’m still most excited to run Castle High - even though it’s the simplest one. I think I’d add a mechanic for gaining additional domain cards based on elective courses. I think I’d be most excited to play in Journey to Horizon. It’s got a lot of support! 010
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 24/07/2026The additional Environments in Hope & Fear really feel like they round out what was missing in the Core book! Anyone have any favorites that have popped up? I didn’t think it would be one of my faves, but Beach Day is such an easy reflavor for calmer moments! 020
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 21/07/2026I need to sit down and go in depth on them. I was most excited for Castle High, and read through that one fully. I’m a huge fan of Slugblaster and was stoked to see Mikey Hamm was part of it! 020
yetanotherpanda.bsky.social @yetanotherpanda.bsky.social · 10/07/2026That said, I also think people go into the hobby thinking there’s a much higher barrier to entry than there actually is. You don’t have to be the greatest GM to get started in a game. You just have to be willing to run it. Improvement comes after. 010
