There’s a big overlap in the DJ <> Socially Awkward venn diagram. You get to go to all the best parties, but you can stand in the corner and not talk to people and it’s perfectly acceptable.

I did indeed. Even without intros, you could tell it was a truly lovely bunch of peeps. Even squeezed myself onto the teeny dance floor for a tune or two.
