I've been having some minor back pain, so I went to the chiropractor today for the first time in 10 years. She did a pelvic x-ray and showed me the image. Standing barefoot on the floor, my right hip is fully two inches higher than my left. My jaw hit the floor! I start physical therapy next week.

Water Tower Place in Chicago IL, dressed up for the winter holidays. There are trees with lights on them, and tall buildings all around.

The same photo after if edited it. The lights appear brighter, the snow has a blue cast to it, and I've beefed up the details in the surrounding buildings.

One of my dear friends has a stepson whose name is just one letter off from mine. Every once in a while she'll text me instead of him. And I always send something back to her to make sure she's texting the right person. It makes me chuckle that this is how I stay in touch with someone.
