Stability. Not just financial stability (I really don't need much there anyway) but also a stable home. Which for me would entail having an on-call caregiver that does NOT live with me (so I can mostly be alone in peace and quiet), but DOES like me enough to never get mad at me for needing help

I did also have the kind of moment you're describing around 18 though. 12 was an alright year all things considered, then everything from 13 to 18 was a blur and the sudden realization of that hit me like a brick
