Hello Streamers!, Twitch decided it was a good idea to include training for AI and to auto opt in everyone for it, so to turn this setting off, go to www.twitch.tv/settings/sec... and scroll all the way to the very bottom before clicking on the "Training for generative AI" slider.

As a heads we we are on backup internet so services are limited. Hopefully will be back up by tomorrow morning. I apologize for the inconvenience. Things like furry.watch will be still running though at a slower pace.

So with the storms lately, be sure you have a UPS backup so you can save your progress n shutdown and have some Wi-Fi while the power is out, since cellular is going to be congested more than likely with everyone trying to figure out what's going on. This is the one I recommend : amzn.to/4peLmFq

Well it was yesterday's but here. 👀✨️

Why can't PC gamers use Uber?

Too many incompatible drivers.

Now have the possibility of doing restream hosting so those on iffy internet can stream out to multiple platforms. I can also do a disconnect protection so the platforms don't completely end off the stream. 👀✨️

Critical updates had to be done restarting the server now. I'll possibly be setting up some sorta 2nd server to keep up everything.

031

yeen.host @yeen.host · 24/05/2026

And with that we are now migrated to the homelab with only 30 seconds downtime.

051

yeen.host @yeen.host · 24/05/2026

I do apologize for not working on updates for furry.watch for awhile though I do plan to make it so we have a few newer things like spotlight requests through your dashboard on furry.watch. Its mainly just time constraints I am facing due to having a full-time job outside this project.

Pricing for furry.watch to run has been $7.74 a month for our canada server and increasing more recently every 3-6 months, yearly the cost for the site is $34.20 a year. Yeen.host for our hosting site $47.48 a year. I feel transparency should be given since this is a huge project.

110

yeen.host @yeen.host · 24/05/2026

Costs for the site have been higher than expected so reasons why I need to do this to keep the project going. ( We also do not make money off the site even with advertising options to somewhat help with costs we've only made $0.05 USD. )

100

yeen.host @yeen.host · 24/05/2026

10 dollars a month to have 25GB of highspeed then slow down to 3G speeds for backup internet. Luckily we do not have outages often and if we do have an outage while I am home then it will turn on my phone hotspot thats truly unlimited so we dont use up the highspeed allotment.

100

yeen.host @yeen.host · 24/05/2026

I moved away from using T-Mobiles home internet backup due to changes in their plan terms. They've made it so their device will be 100 hours of unlimited highspeed data though they didn't specify how they'd be providing it. Now I've gotten a Unifi 5G Backup strictly to keep us online during outages.

100

yeen.host @yeen.host · 24/05/2026

Hello! Due to the cost increases from our 3rd party provider. I'll be moving things back to my own hosting. No longer will we have a canada server though I will have data redundancy for the site and a partial backup for those currently using my hosting partially for cloud flared will be supported.

Actually wasn’t that bad for an outage only lasted about an hour. ( barely even used 10% )

yeen.host @yeen.host · 27/04/2026

Currently under a power outage for my area and restore times are not listed. We do however have backup power/generators if needed. I’ll let you know if anything happens with restoration.

As of today, we did update our social images due to a mistake I made. As a respect towards the creator, I’ve removed them from our social promotional image. I will not be mentioning what happened as I was the fuck-up in this case, and it wasn’t their fault. - Nocturnz

Got my renewal notice for yeen.host being 103.18 next year in February gonna see what domain provider I can swap to lower that cost. Probably gonna swap to Cloudflare instead of name cheap. Might as well put everything onto that.
