I was told that bigger folks assume I wouldn't be into them, so I should approach first. So I do, in person & online, and get shot down a lot, or have an awkward-if-polite interaction - or silence. I know many guys are bear4bear, chub4chub. I don't judge that. How could I? I'm 4bear and 4chub, too!

When I go to bear and chub events, tho, it's like I'm invisible to the guys I like: my size thru superchub. Twinks/twunks approach me, but it's rare anyone bigger does. And I have a hard time catching their eye to cruise them or get a hint if they're interested. Online/apps, not any better.

Portola was my 1st music festival, and I had so much fun. I got to see artists perform I've been listening to for decades: DJ Shadow, Tricky, Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada. Parcels is one of my favorite bands, and it was incredible! I cried. Tove Lo, Robyn and Zara Larsson, Horsegiirl, all so good
