YDSA at SVSU is organizing a vigil for Palestine on the 11th near the bell tower outside of Curtis Hall. Please join us as we honor the countless lives lost. This event is open to both students and non-students.

Vigil for Palestine, October 11th, 8pm, Edwards Bell Tower. Please join the YDSA at SVSU for a candlelight vigil honoring the countless lives lost to the ongoing violence committed against Palestine. Together, we will hold space for reflection, solidarity, and hope for peace. Our 2nd meeting went wonderfully! We debriefed the outcome of our safe campus campaign (it went well!) and discussed what to do going forward. Thank you everyone for attending, and thank you William for taking the picture!

MAKE YOUR CAMPUS A SANCTUARY CAMPUS‼️🌹 Join YDSA and demand that your school refuse to comply with the Trump administration's attacks on students!

Text “Since the start of the Trump administration, we've seen how the political climate has changed.
Building off the demonization of student protestors by the Biden administration, Trump is launching a barrage of fascist attacks on students and youth who stand up for Palestine.

We recognize that this repression is set against a larger backdrop of fascist action, such as Trump's regime of mass deportations, dehumanization of trans people, and unprecedented federal austerity measures.”

Text “On campuses across the country, dozens of YDSA chapters have already launched sanctuary campus campaigns demanding ICE off campus, protections for the queer community, and no compliance with Trump's repressive, fascist agenda.” above a picture of an anti-ICE protest.
