I'm thinking of getting a retro laptop for gaming purposes.

I drew some of the people I saw today! I am really proud of these! #pixelart #art #MastoArt

Muslim woman wearing a blue hijab and a white shirt. She is doing the peace sign, kind of like an anime pose. The background is a gray circle alternating between red and blue patterns. It is stylized in pixel art!

Woman with messy and long, black hair, blue eyes, wearing a flower shirt that varies between red and blue. She is laying on a bed, extending her arms towards the viewer. Stylized in pixel art.

Silksong is going to be absolutely insane. I played Hollow Knight when I was a middle school-er, and now I'm a college sophomore. #HollowKnight #hollowknightsilksong #silksong

Now I'm starting to experiment with Olllama models. My current hardware is a Ryzen 5 6600H, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 512vram iGPU, so i'm pretty much limited to the small/tiny models unless I want to wait hours for a generated response.

I'm getting the hang of my #nixos setup. I tweaked it a bit more, and now I'm at the point where I'm just using vanilla GNOME. I should add some performance based tweaks though.

Day 6 of me using nixos: I learned how the structure of nixos options worked and tidied up my configuration files to make them more modular.

AnduinOS lives rent free in my head, and now I have my endeavouros KDE plasma to look like it.

A plasma desktop with a spacey astronaut background with satellites and stars. The icons are from the Fluent pack, and the desktop is laid out in a similar manner as Windows 11.

So,... I decided to use the zfs filesystem on Ubuntu for your typical laptop usage. Good or bad decision? #zfs #linux #ubuntu #tech

A reminder that one of the biggest reasons Musk and the far right are so focused on trans people is because they literally believe we are a conspiracy to lower white birth rates.

The ubuntu steam (edge) snap really isn't as bad as it once was after you configure its permissions.

Yeah I really need to settle on a distro. I think I'm going to just go with Project Bluefin from Universal Blue.

Me drawing my current state of emotions

Yutopian wearing a large fedora, raising their arms and making angry hand gestures. They have a crooked smile, as if they're desperately trying to keep themself from frowning. This image is drawn in a friday-night-funkin-esque style.

Same image, but dark tendrils are swirling and covering them.

At this rate of distrohopping, I might as well invest in a separate root and home partition. i will never be satisfied with my working environment.

Instead of chasing bleeding edge, I opted to try rockylinux/rhel All i can say is that this is so stable that Rocky Linux is at gnome **_40_** while debian is at gnome 43 or something. King Stability.

PSA: If you're stuck between buying two similarly priced devices, always go for the one with the better CPU. Alternatively, make sure the components are balanced so there's no bottleneck.
